By default, creating a new user creates a new private page with the slug private-page/displayname. If a display name does not exist, the username is used so some of my user’s private page slug contain the username and some contain the display name.
I would like to the slug to always be private-page/username. Is this possible?

I try to add on my woocommerce endpoint a button that redirect to the private user page.
However, if add the following code < a href=”[client-portal]” class=”any-class”>[client-portal] </a> the link direct me automatically to the private-page without clicking on the button. I want an action from the user, I want that the user can click on the link to be redirected instead of being automatically redirected. I hope it make sense, because on my endoint there is some content to read before to be redirected to the “private -page”.

And I would like to put a generic link (https://lifax.es/index.php/archivos/despacho/) in a menu on the home page where, when you click on the link, it will send you to your private page.

I have taken over a site using this plugin but after changing the admin password in the database (I did not have access to the old admin password) I cannot access the backend of the site. After logging in in I am redirected to a private user post for my admin user, I have tried creating a new admin user in the db and the same thing so I am unable to access the wp admin area at all.
I have tried :
disabling the client portal plugin
disabling all plugins
create new htaccess file
navigating directly to wp-admin url once logged in (message – you do not have permission to view this page)
I just need to know how to disable or bypass the redirection to the private post for specific admin users without access to the backend to do so.

But when I login a user, the redirection goes directly to wp-admin, not to my page with these shortcodes. I want that the user login, and after he goes to his personal page (client-portal). I don’t want to give them the oportunity to go to the wp-admin page. I want to hide the wordpress admin panel. It is possible? I think that I have all settings correctly, but I can’t to do this.

Hi, Client portal is a great plugin. We find out many clients really don’t remember their password and seems don’t like to remember another password or take the time to reset the password then remember another password.
Thus I am thinking about to customize the Client Portal Login Page with Passwordless login functionality. It has been achieved with a single passwordless login form, as client just need enter their email or user name and then a one time login link will be sent to their email, once clicked, they will be redirected back as a logged in account to the dashboard as normal.
But I have noticed that the default Client Portal Login Form is somehow defaulted in the login page and seems it is mandatory.
Just wondering is there anyway to disable or hidden the login form so that the client could only see passwordless login form only?

This happens whenever I try to edit an elementor page that has the shortcode [client-portal].
It just started happening today after I updated to wordpress 6.1.1 so I don’t know if that has anything to do with it. The page will only let me edit if I deactivate this client portal plugin. Does anybody know how to resolve this issue?

The only option shown is the Author, but changing the Author from a Private Page breaks the automatic redirection from the login. I’m using Client Portal with Profile Builder as recommended.
So when a client logs in with an incorrect credentials, the following message is given:
ERROR: Invalid email. Lost your password?
If the client then enters their email address to get a new password, the following is displayed:
Check your email for the confirmation link, then visit the log in page.
When the client logs in with their new password they are taken to the wp-admin page rather than the client area.
SO I’d like to fix this in the easiest way possible – Do you have any suggestions please? Many thanks in advance,

]]>In testing, I find the “above page” and “below page” private page content is produced three times. I think this may have to do with the way the new Avada Layouts works as it appears the “Header” and “Footer” global layouts are triggering the loop and then loading the private page content. The plugin is great. I has been of great help for showing each user specific content, but recently I fund some weird behavior.
I had two users (A and B), both with their private pages.
I deleted user B and selected to assign all his content to user A.
Now when I enter user A private page it shows uses B private page, and the original User A private page disappeared or is inaccessible.
I know this is a normal behavior since I decided to assign the content, but can we make some logic to restore the original page or not assign this kind of content in user deletion?

]]>Your plugin is not checking if the active theme is a parent or a child one, so if you have a child theme active, and try to customize the private page template, you will not see any change.
I have checked the path you defined in your code, and I think it could be easier to customize the template if you make a minor change in a new version:
Using the get_stylesheet_directory() function instead of the get_template_directory() function, will make the plugin to look for the new template in the parent or child theme whose stylesheet is in use. Does it make sense?

I have read a previous topic where @nlmosler explains that he does use Elementor and ACF with Client Portal. I was able to also do this based on his advise by first enabling Private pages to be edited with Elementor and then I created a template that is specifically for Private pages only.
But my issue is that, while it all works just fine and each user can see their own content which is created for them, I am also able to view other clients info created using the ACF plugin so for example if I am assigned this url:
https://website.com/private-page/john
and when I visit this page, I can see all the ACF fields that were assigned to John (their project name ex: weby1) however if while I am logged in or not for that matter if I simply visit another private page assigned to someone else like:
https://website.com/private-page/doe
I can then see their assigned ACF fields (their project name ex: appy1), does anyone have any idea how I can prevent these ACF fields from being visible to only logged in users and only show fields that are related to that logged in user. Thank you.
