HTML disappeared from the description in lightbox

    Sorry for the trouble,

    It looks like there’s a bug in which certain characters and HTML is not parsed and not displayed properly.

    A report has been created about this issue to notify our development team about it. I apologize for the inconvenience in the meantime.

    For the time being, you can switch to a different lightbox effect from NextGEN Gallery > Other Options > Lightboxeffects to see if that’ll allow displaying HTML tags.

    Ok, thank you. I’ll be waiting for your response here. I hope you fix it soon.

    We are experiencing the same problem – the HTML tags included in our image descriptions are now completely ignored!

    This is a major issue for us, since we have over 1,500 images, all of them with links (in the description) to the relevant posts.

    Can you please let us know when we can expect a fix, or if there is an option to re-install the previously functioning version of NextGen.

    This is a major issue for me as well as I have 50+ clients relying on the HTML to work. The other LightBox effects do not display as well as the FancyBox option.

    Sorry for the trouble with HTML not working on the lightbox,

    Our team is actively working on resolving the issue, which will be released soon. Until then, I suggest you use some other lightbox effect as suggested above. Once the plugin has been updated with the fix, you can switch back to the lightbox again.

    We are still waiting with our clients for fix this problem. And it’s 4 weeks since the last update. Please release update ASAP.

    I have just installed the newly released version of NextGEN Gallery 3.59.6, but it doesn’t seem to fix the problem.

    Can you please confirm if the fix was supposed to be included in this version.

    We are really hurting while this problem persists, so your early response will be greatly appreciated.

    Yes, i agree with @yuvalp . We are waiting 5 weeks for update and finally when it came out the problem was not fixed.

    Please fix the HTML in the descriptions below photos in lightbox.

    Likewise, and anyway it is not possible to change the Lightbox choice/setting. Using Fancybox.
