The only thing that I saw was a settings page. No page or documentation to learn how to send emails to anyone. So I was unable to even use this plugin. No idea what it does.

There are debug codes visible after installing.
No link directly to the settings from the plugin page.
Test email gives the following error:
Fatal error: Class ‘DateTimeImmutable’ not found in /home/sengigsmail33/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cimy-swift-smtp/vendor/swiftmailer/swiftmailer/lib/classes/Swift/Mime/SimpleMessage.php on line 56

I spent hours trying to hack my way around the wp_mail to get WordPress to send an email. I’m running WordPress as a subdir in a project hosted on a Google Cloud instance which blocks the standard SMTP ports so the wp_mail and mail methods don’t work. I used Swiftmailer somewhere else in the instance and it’s able to send emails so I was trying to hack the wp_mail function to use Swiftmailer but that would’ve taken me hours. I installed this plugin and had WordPress send an email in literally seconds. THANK YOU

I have tried nearly all SMTP plugins to send mail for new user notification and forgot password mails (as my hosting provider had block mail() function ) but none of them where working. Then I tried Cimy Swift SMTP . It works awesome. Just awesome.
It is the last and best SMTP plugin I used.
Thanks to all developers behind it. Keep it up guys .

After spending the afternoon trying every possible combination of SMTP settings in another WP SMTP Plugin, this one worked straight away. Time to go slash my wrists that I didn’t try this sooner.

Firts I try with WP Mail SMTP plugin but it doesn’t works with STARTTLS protocol, and then I installed and tried Cimy Swift SMTP plugin and it works fine.

Having problems with my web hosting company and there permissions on PHP files. My websites were unable to send email, so with this plugin I am FINALLY able to send emails again through an external SMTP server (Google Apps) AND also override the senders name and email address (ie no more [email protected]). Thank you for a great plugin!
