Hi,
Thanks for creating this great plugin. It helps me a lot in managing our email campaigns.
I’ve just noticed a weird bug with permalink, that breaks our permalink structure (returns 404 for archive & single custom post type pages). After digging into the code of the plugin, I see that you use flush_rewrite_rules()
right after register_post_type()
function. That causes a lot of unneeded calls to refresh permalinks on every page load, which might affect other permalink setup.
Regarding the Codex, this function (flush_rewrite_rules()
) should be called only once when the plugin is activated.
I suggest removing that line (class-chimppress-setup.php
file, line 72) to make it work properly (after removing this line, our permalink structure works pretty well).
Thanks.
]]>Hi,
First of all excuse for my ugly english. I’s like to thank you for this awesome plugin, so I think maybe I’m not taking all of it yet.
I’d like to create a template for automatic emails that send the email or campaign when, for example, I have wrote ten post. The thing is that if I wrote daily, I think my suscribers will hate me hahaha.
Is there a posibility to do this??
By the way what I should fill in: The to name of your campaign (not an email address)
I Understand that should be the recipient name, but maybe I’m wrong so if I have 2000 suscribers…
Best Regards
]]>I created a new campaign template and selected a layout (three cells stacked). I added an image to the top cell, and content to the other two cells. Somewhere along the line the screen went dark and a “Loading” image appeared with the grey spiraling bar under it. I don’t know what I did, to be honest. Now every time I try to edit this campaign that Loading image comes back. I’ve deactivated the plugin, but every time I go back to edit that campaign the Loading screen comes back immediately. It stays there for a long, long time (>20 min last time).
Any idea what’s going on?
Thanks.

Hi, love the plugin but no matter what CSS style I try, I get a weird offset on the table.
Anyone know a way to fix this?
Cheers
Leon
I have installed and activated ChimpPress but ChimpPress menu did not appear on the dashboard..
]]>When I install ChimpPress and activate it, it completely crashes my site. Not sure if it is interacting badly with other mailchimp plugins I am using or with my theme.
Theme is custom based on WPShower’s Sight Theme.
Other plugins are:
– Contact Form 7
– Contact Form 7 AutoResponder Addon Plugin
– MailChimp Comment Opt In
– Spam Free WordPress
– Ultimate Tag Cloud Widget
– Widgets on Pages
– WSA Favicon
Any help or insight would be appreciated. I would love to test the ChimpPress Plugin and manage my Mailchimp list from WordPress.
]]>Great plug-in! We are using it to manage our mailings I am excited about being able to set templates and mail when posts are published. Thanks for the hard work!
Here’s my question:
Our MailChimp list is subdivided into an umbrella list and groups under the main list. The MailChimp groups correspond to post categories. For example we have a group called ‘communications’ that is under the main MMailChimp list, and a corresponding post category called ‘communications’. I would like to be able to send a newsletter to just the people opted into the “communications’ group, but I do not see the ability to select particular groups within a list. Is this possible with version 0.8.2?
I would also like to be able to associate a particular post category with a MailChimp group so that an email would go out to just the ‘communications’ MailChimp group when a post is made to that associated category.
I may be asking for the moon and stars, or there may be a way to do this.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Again – thanks for making a great plug-in!

]]>Great plugin,
But it would be great if you could save previous templates,
so you can use them again.
Just to make it easier for customers, who don’t have any design knowledge.
In that case I could create a header and footer, with only the content to be filled in by the customer.

Yves
