Hello, I just want to report a compatibility issue. Today I realised that the settings of UpdraftPlus (professional version) were corrupted. More specifically, it was the settings tab. There are some options there for remote backup storage. They were largely invisible and I couldn’t change some important settings.
After deactivating one suspicious plugin after another, I realised that the Child Themes Helper was the culprit. It must have to do with JS or CSS on the admin side that are incompatible with those UpdraftPlus has.
For me the problem is solved for now, but let me know if you provide a general compatibility optimisation that I can test.
]]>Great plugin nice work. I tested and found that the child templates contained in folders don’t work. They don’t override the main file.
]]>Hi,
Sorry to be a disturbance. I use a Themedy child theme on my WordPress site, called Derby, which runs on an old version of Genesis. The Derby theme is old and displays many PHP errors that will break the site soon if I don’t update it to the much newer Derby child theme, which also comes with a Genesis update too. But when I try to update the child theme, all my customisations disappear and the site is poorly laid out, unrecognisable from the earlier Derby child theme. Will this plugin of yours be suitable somehow to help me upgrade to the newer version of my child theme, and keep all my customisations? No customisations were ever done in the parent theme.. just the child theme.
Thank you, Stu

But when I click on theme, Page reload and nothing being saved
Hi,
Can this create a Child theme by using the current modified parent design?
