This plugin is outdated since Divi version 4.25.0 . If you use it after that it will make use of code that is too old. The effect of that is that there is no way to add/edit any elements at all.
In functions.php of the child theme, you have to add this code:

I wish I can give more than 5 stars. I completed a site and then realized it would be a good idea to create a child theme. I was afraid I will lose a lot of customizations. I used one plugin for another site but I ended up to manually redoing all the stylings. But this config plugin did EVERYTHING. Once I created the child theme the plugin does everything I wanted.

I’m using wordpress 6.0.2 and it worked perfectly. Many plugins copy the original theme, but this one also copies all the adjustments you made in the original theme, so that the child looks exactly like the original. And then you can start over with the advantages of a child theme.

The basic CTC must be active for the Pro version to function. Under WPv6, installing or activating the Pro version totally uninstalls the basic version, so they *can’t* both be active at the same time. This is true with each of the handful of themes I’ve tested against.
“Support” is totally unresponsive.
Money wasted for the Pro upgrade is for naught.

The plug-in was working perfect. Then it crashed all my sites ?? I had to go to the admin e-mail set in wp, then get the recovery link sent by wordpress. Once I enter the admin in recovery mode I disabled the child theme and select another one and it start working again.

I had to create a child theme in order to make some smaller modifications to my excellent parent theme. I first tried it on my own, because I thougth there are only some simple steps to follow.
However – now I’m very happy that I found this very helpful tool. This plugin was easy to setup, not always easy to understand which option to use, but finally created a perfect child theme for me.
