Cherry Projects works great for WordPress version 5.4. Once we upgraded to Version 5.5, we can see the projects in the Elementor Dashboard, but can NOT see the projects on the frontend/client view.

If we revert back to WordPress 5.4, all is good again.

Gallery display only a part of image. How to display the full image?
Is there any settings to display properly horizontal and vertical images?

I would like to have a galery with mixed images (horizontal and vertical) and I would like to have a proper thumbnails.
Right now on thumbnails and on main picture in the gallery I see only a part of image (center part).
Is there any option to get full image in thumbnail and full image in gallery?

I used the Cherry project to display my recent projects on the page. I have 4 images to display. Each image around 50KB. It took 17 secs to load the images up. I believe the filter hook the load the project’s data is causing the ajax call to respond very slowly.

Is there any way to improve the performance for this?

I am wondering if there is a way to get this plugin to act like the portfolio feature in the Cherry Plugins addon to the Cherry Theme. Our client loves the portfolio functionality and how it can show a thumbnail that pops up a lightbox that displays all of the images in that particular portfolio as a slider. The Projects plugin is somewhat similar, however the implementation on the page is clunkier. We don’t want to send users to a new page to view the project images, but the projects on the page only popup a lightbox for the featured image and there is no page template available. Am I missing something?

In the installation documentation it says “Standard templates can be rewritten in the theme. For that you need to create cherry-projects folder in the root catalog of the theme and copy the necessary templates in there. You can also add your own templates. For that you need to create a file with .tmpl extension in the same folder.”

Can you please advise what directory is “the root catalog”?

Is there is a way or is the functionality already there to toggle between items.

For instance, click on an item and it pops up/open and from there you can toggle to the next one without having to close it and move to the next one manually.

Is this possible?

I noticed most other support questions go unanswered. Answering questions would let people know they can trust buying the premium version of this product. Or any other things that you develop.

I have noticed that when a cherry project gallery is clicked on the website’s front page, it gives a 524 error.

How can change the tag Learn More from Cherry Project

I installed this plugin today but i’m having some trouble.

Unfortunately it seems that the plugin is incompatible with version 4.9, because while it looks like it’s working initially, any projects made with it have no pages created for them, instead they appear in the projects directory, but when clicked on they take you to a “page not found” view.

The plugin has no clear documentation linked from it’s page and the website lacks documentation or even information for this specific plugin as well, so i would appreciate help, it also lacks any links to example pages or even images that showcase the plugin’s abilities.

I am unable to make any edits to my WordPress site, when I try to edit of any of the Pages, or try to add a new post, I get the following error message:

Latest projects update to 1.2.9 destroyed the grid view in my monstroid2 installation (“intrabrand” default home page). All images are tiny, and get smaller the bigger the window gets. They are big again when I switch to mobile view.
There appears to be a major f*cup somewhere. I tried to recreate the view, and there were unclosed tags in mouse-over texts and all.
Luckily I had a backup. Any fix in sight, or other suggestions?

We need to be able to apply a filter by category, and disable the “Show All” option. We’re trying to show “bathroom” projects on the “bathroom” page, but the default view on the page shows *all* projects, from kitchens to living rooms, etc.

How can we hide that, and *only* show projects in the categories selected?

Hello! It would be desirable that such function was realized: at filling category_list = “88,86,89,87,91,85,92” to deduce the data only on these categories.

I am trying to achieve an arrangement of thumbnails only (no visible text or icons), and where mouseover causes the project name only to appear, and where clicking the image (not link text or icons)sends me to the project. None of these things appears to be possible using the available parameters for cherry projects. What am I missing? These seem to be pretty basic features for any creative website containing projects

Hi, when cherry projects has ‘item margin’ parameter set to anything other than zero, the formatting of the thumbnails in justified layout gets corrupted

How can I change the actual title of the Project Details?
Is is specified as “Project Details” an there seems to be no plugin function to Change this, for example into anoter language.

Hello, Is there any instructions for this plugin? It looks great but I am having an issue getting images to load and before I expend any more time on it I ws hoping for some guidance as to the way to incorporate the images into the project and for a project to then be added to a page.
At the moment all I am seeing is the pulsing circle at the bottom of the page but no images. Instructions will I am sure allow me to try this out more fully.
