We add a 2% fee to any sales made on the site. It is applied to Paypal Purchases as opposed to globally as we only use PayPal for processing.
The “is taxable?” radio button is enabled as is the “Add taxes” radio button.
The taxes are not added to the total amount at checkout.

]]>I apply a discount according to the payment method, while showing it correctly on the payment screen, woocommerce applies a discount again at the rate I specified to the discount in the orders section and undercharges. In short, it applies a discount and applies a discount again to the discount rounds.
For example.
product price:1000$
Discount: 10%
Discount amount 10$
However, it applies a 10% discount ($1) on the discount amount of $10, resulting in $899.
I’m not sure if I am misunderstanding something, or if I have my calculations wrong. I’m trying to setup extra fees for Stripe – 1.7% surcharge + $0.30. These are my settings:
But I’m getting strange results with the surcharge for example on this order I would be expecting the surcharge to be about $0.86 or $0.87 with tax (1.7% of subtotal + $0.30 + $0.10 tax) – but its much higher around 4.2%!!

I don’t have any other settings in place, no Global fee, nothing on any other Payment processor.
Have I got the settings wrong?
Thanks
Hey,
when I use a discount for a certain payment method, the discount is not correct.
Subtotal (gross) = 211.90 EUR
Discount 2% = 3.56 EUR
That is not right. Discount should be 4.24 EUR. It seems that the discount calculation has a problem with gross/net values or I made a mistake in the configuration? Can anyone help, please?
All prices in my WooCommerce shop are gross values.
]]>I have an issue with the calculation of additional fees when using PayPal. With the traditional payment method during checkout and using PayPal, everything works correctly, and the additional fee is added. However, when using PayPal’s quick payment option (Pay PayPal Now), the additional fee is not applied. How can I resolve this?
]]>I set 5% discount for one of my payment gateway but instead of discounting it is adding 5% amount to total cart value, what i am missing?
]]>Hi,
I would like to know, how the extra fees get charged. Does it convert the total amount the customer needs to pay by adding the fixed amount or percentage to the checkout price and sends this amount to the payment gateway eg Stripe for processing, or does it actually change the amount that the payment processsor charges? Here is what I mean:
If the payment gateway charges 10% for sake of easy calculation, and 10% of $100 is $10, then usually, the customer pays $100, and the payment gateway would charge $10 of the $100 that the customer pays, leaving the shop ower with $100 -$10 = $90.
I would like to know what this plugin does:
Thank you
]]>I have a global fee of 2% on all payment methods except Crypto (btcpayserver) method.
By default Crypto is selected as the payment method.
But if the customer clicks either Google Pay or Aaple Pay Express Checkout button at the top, whichever normal payment method is selected, this is what is used for the Express checkout.
Example if the user pays with Google Pay they won’t have the extra fee added because on the normal payment method choice, crypto method is selected.
Is there a way Google Pay and Apple Pay Express Checkouts can use the fee of Global or Debit / Credit card?
I am happy that I found this plugin, but the problem is is there anyway I can hide the extra fee added and I tell the customer using other ways but not directly tell them in the cart, and showing the correctly price in the total price

– PayPal: US$9,00 (10% discount)
Thanks.
Hello I have installed and set up the plugin. I have added a fixed cost of 1.5 euros when they select to pay with cash. The issue is that this cost is applicable only to shipped orders. I want to disable it when the pickup is from the store. Is there a way to do this?
Thank you in advance

Does the free version only allow 1 payment gateway to be used at a time? I have found that when I have Stripe enabled first, PayPal doesn’t save but if I have PayPal enabled first, Stripe won’t save.
I’ve tried disabling all plugins but this seems to be the only issue.
Thanks!

Hi There,
I’ve noticed that Paypal stopped actually charging the gateway fee, although it does show in the final amount in the cart. It does work with another payment gateway we have installed. Do you have any advice? Possible settings related to Paypal? I can’t get any assistance from Paypal, but maybe you have experience with this.
Thanks,
Belinda
]]>Hello! We are having an issue with a discount and free shipping.
We have added a 10% discount when a customer pays with credit card.
We also have set a free shipping rule through Woocommerce in order customer to get free shipping in orders over 60€. Ι have the checkbox that says calculate free shipping before coupons and discounts unchecked.
However in checkout when a user adds products that cost 60€ and chooses credit card as payment (so cart total before shipping is 60-10%=54€) he gets free shipping. How can I make the rule for discount calculated before shipping? Also, I want in checkout to have the subtotals in that order: Cart Subtotal / Credit Card Discount / Shipping
Thank you.
]]>I am using Payment plug-ins (Stripe for WooCommerce) by Paymentplugins and also Payment gateway based fees and discounts for WooCommercePro (by Tychee Software) for additional fees to be added.
When I am using domestic test card, it charges correctly but the fees for international credit card doesn’t add up, because there are no two separate fees. If i don’t pass on credit card fee when customer uses International credit card fee, i may incur additional cost from out of pocket. I tried to reach out to Tychee software, but not really helpful.
Is there any good plugin which can detect the card based on geographic location?
]]>Hello, I need to know if your discount plugin supports discounts based on payment method on the Customer payment page. I have installed a plugin that supports payments by installments, and we offer a discount if a customer pays with certain payment method, but currently we are using a coupon to apply the discount, and the coupon make the discount to the total of the order and to all the other installments (which each of them if an order).
We want to apply this discount only if a certain payment method is used when customer pays for each installement order.

Why could that be? Thank you!

]]>Hi,
In one of my customers shops PayPal fees have been added. A fixed amount and a percentage. When adding certain products to the cart the fees are showing twice in the checkout.
For example. When adding https://www.carpwhisperer.com/fluorocarbon-karper-lijn/?attribute_pa_diameter=30-00 to the cart and select paypal as payment method in the checkout the fees will show twice.
This will not happen when adding only https://www.carpwhisperer.com/sa7-boilies/?attribute_pa_diameter=15-mm to the cart. Fees will show correct.
In both cases the fees do show correctly in the cart.
Please assist.
Cheers,
Jaap
