Hello. I am getting a 403 Forbidden Access only when I am updating my WordPress Menu. I am using this plugin to diagnose if any plugins/themes are causing the issue and I am getting the same error.
Just making sure that the plugin is suitable for such work and that I need to check for conflicts elsewhere?
]]>Is there any reason why the plugin hasn’t been updated in over a year?
I’m just concerned to keep using it and wanted to ask if you are still supporting the plugin.
It shows that the plugin hasn’t been tested with the newest versions of WordPress. Can you test things and update the plugin (if possible)?
Thanks,
Gary
]]>The website opens with everyone except me, I think because of the IP address, so I want the website to open with me, what do I have to do, by the way, I deleted the cache and history 24 hours ago
and I opened it with a private browser but still did not open and said this message on a blank page “There has been a critical error on this website.”
and all that happened after I disable plugin “woocommerce multilingual & multicurrency with wpml”
]]>This plugin has been awesome for me for quite some time, but in the past couple of days its been acting up.
I activated it and the MU plugin for a routine conflict test, just like all the other times I’ve done it. Normally I could go to another browser (private or otherwise) and check to see what the frontend issue would look like and wouldn’t have any issue.
But, this time around the browsers were all showing slightly different versions of what I was editing, and some of them simply would not update along with the edits. I thought it was a cache issue, and even reinstalled my main browser.
But, the issue was with this plugin. Any one have any experience with this sort of thing?
]]>Check Conflicts Settings is added to all installed plugin menu items and not just to the menu items under Check Conflicts.
]]>I was told to use this plugin to find conflicts but I don’t know how it works. I uploaded the MU plugin whatever the hell that is and now there’s a list of plugins and some are highlighted in grey and some are not. I think.
OK, what now? Are the highlighted ones active or not-active?
You link to some blog entry about the process of checking conflicts that doesn’t even mention your plugin.
]]>Hi,
It seems the plugin is no longer working. It doesn’t matter in which site I’m using it. I’m enabling MU plugin, select a default theme and for example 1 plugin. After that nothing changes. This was working fine a couple of months ago.
Is it not compatible with PHP8 or with latest versions of WP?
Hope it will be fixed. Really enjoyed this plugin.
]]>This is a great tool. I was able to test and break my site (expected), but then each time I tried to reload the MU plugin, I’d get another critical error.
As the other support ticket states, the check_conflicts_settings
in wp_options table is where the info is stored.
FEATURE REQUEST:
Is it possible to add a setting to wipe this row, so that when enabling a MU plugin again, I start on a clean slate?
I was working with this plugin and got a fatal error.
I had simply highlighted a group of my other plugins (after installing and creating the MU plugin) and it immediately generated the error. So I had to delete the MU plugin which allowed me to get back in.
But as soon as I recreate the MU plugin to test it again, I get the error again, immediately. So I can’t continue to work with the plugin.
I had also tried deleting the plugin, and then reinstalling it, but I continue to get the error.
I’m presuming it added something to the database that isn’t being removed when I delete the plugin.
Do you know what information I can remove from the database to safely and completely uninstall this plugin from my website?
I’d like to be able to try it again, but unless I can get past this point, I can’t since simply re-activating the plugin causes my site to fail.
Good thing is, it only seems to fail on the backend. LOL
Any advise?
Gary
]]>Hi
WP tells me Check conflicts plugin overrides active plugins and theme for your IP. ?? Furthermore, I don’t see any information about what the plugin does or doesn’t do? Without any information from the plugin, the thing is useless.

]]>This is a brilliant plugin. Thanks!
I noticed that if I had this plugin enabled, and then disabled, and then went ahead and disabled plugins A and B, and then re-enabled the Check Conflicts plugin, it would still have plugin A and B enabled, even though I disabled them. Then if I were to disable the Check Conflicts plugin, those plugins (A and B) would remain enabled (even though I previously disabled them).
