}3.8, 3.9, 4.0 – I have been trying to get it to work and it just won’t any longer.
1. The plugin is installed and working; I have disabled all other plugins completely and it’s the only one running, but it will not work at all.
2. The Chartboot button will not show a pop up window for you to enter the data into. If you click it, it will not show the data entry panel at all.
3. If you right click and try to open into a window, it will show the data entry page for Chartboot. It will render and create the charts for you, but because it’s in a new window, when you click “Send to WP”, it won’t. It needs to be supported because this will be a brilliant plugin if we can get it working with WP 4.0 and beyond.

Also my data in Google Spreadsheets always changes due to survey form calculations. So will the new data will be updated to the line graph automatically or I have to do it manually?
I am okay, if for this I would be required to buy a paid plugin but it will be worth only if these requirements are satisfied or not.
Currently, I am using an image which is published directly from Google Spreadsheets as if I use interactive image directly from Google Spreadsheets, the line graph doesn’t show completely on my mobile phone as it isn’t responsive.

I have chart data on multiple sheets within one Google Spreadsheet. Each spreadsheet has it’s own unique ID number at the end of the URL.
When I create a chart in Chartboot the first sheets data works fine.
When I insert the URL for the second sheet, the data pulled is from the first sheet.
Chartboot is not recognizing the URL for the second sheet.
Is this a bug? Each URL is different due to the unique ID #. It should be working.

]]>I am trying to use ChartBoot to produce a combo chart which in most respects it does fine. However, a small niggle, where I have a chart which has a percentage line overlaying columns the legend on the right axis (as I have set it up) shows the numbers of percentage e.g. 0 – 60 but it won’t show the format e.g. 0%, 30% etc. Works fine in Google. Any ideas much appreciated.

When I click any button: “Import Data”, “Edit Chart”, “Set Style” and so on, it doesn’t open anything. There are these errors in my browser’s Console:

Uncaught ReferenceError: GCEWP is not defined cbwp.php:46
any help would be greatly appreciated because this is kind of an emergency, thanks!
]]>If I try and look at my chart – which shows fine in Chrome on on my PC running Windows – I get an error message:
Chrome for Android does not support this plugin.
In Firefox: “a plugin is needed to display this content.”
On other browsers I just get a piece of lego. Any ideas why this is?

]]>It seems strange that no one has commented on this yet. When I was first trying to get this working when I clicked on the neato Add Google Chart button it brought up a somewhat blank pane. I figured out that the page was trying to load insecure content and the jsapi script from google was being blocked by my browser. (our back-end admin panel is setup to load over https) here is the message in Chrome’s javascript console.
[blocked] The page at https://wpsupport.boisestate.edu/wp-content/plugins/chartboot-for-wordpress/cbwp.php ran insecure content from https://www.google.com/jsapi.
I was able to fix the whole issue by editing cbwp.php eight lines or so from bottom to src=”//www.google.com/jsapi” it was originally src=”https://www.google.com/jsapi” This allows the browser to load up http or https depending on what the page is. If you could make this change in the next version I think it would be an improvement.

]]>Ipagg, thank you for your continuous support. The last bug with adding a null entry now got much worse – it is deleting the last line now! I have discovered this after uploading a number of big charts and it was quite frustrating ??
In addition, the latest version of chartboot is adding a boatload of crap to the code – what is “xxx01xxx” doing in every single line? Is there a purpose to it? Also, why did you move away the two checkmarks to link to chartboot and border to a separate tab? And why did you change the size to 800 pixels? Now there are more extra clicks and changes involved ?? Also, the title does not get added to the chart sometimes. Not a critical issue, but another bug to report.
I really wish we could go back to the very first version of chartboot, where everything worked perfectly. Now it seems that the latest version is full of bugs and features that we do not want to see.
Very unfortunate, since this could be a superb plugin with no real competition!

]]>I’m trying to configure the state of a motion chart, so that it loads with certain options pre-configured (e.g. unique colours for individual bubbles on the chart, time set on the x-axis), but I’m not having any success.
I’m setting the parameters I want in the “state” part of the jsondesc that Chartboot uses to build the chart, e.g. for unique colours:
“state”:{“colorOption”:”_UNIQUE_COLOR”}
This is taken from the state string available from the advanced settings in the motion chart once I’ve manually configured it as I want.
However, whatever I put in is having no effect when the chart loads. How do I do this?

Very nice plugin and very easy to use. But the default colours aren’t much good to me I’m afraid. I need certain RGB or Hex colours to conform to brand guidelines. For example, the blues available are not quite right. I need #0069a9. Similarly for the green and the orange.
Also the pop-up isn’t big enough for long titles. How can I make this bigger please?
