Thank you VERY much for Quick Edit mode in your plugin. This was the feature/behavior which I missed in WP for a long time (I saw it in PrestaShop few years ago).
This is a BIG improvement for whole WP generally.

Extremely heavy on the backend and on the frontend.
Did not work out-of-the box and although it makes use of the backend Tips pop-ups, it’s not as intuitive as it could be.
Config pages are too cluttered and it tries to do more than what its scope is (“Fix 500 Internal Server Error” option… really?!).

Grazie Alessandro, questo oplugin è veramente ben fatto! Da un po’ di tempo il sito è diventato molto lento in backend, ma non so se dipenda da ceceppa, ad ogni modo è comunque una ocsa “gestibile” quindi io ti do piene stelle!!

Long time since any update’s were done.
Everything has to be done precise otherwise everything turns to shit!
Language switching does not work good for me. Every time i am in (EN) and go to another page via the menu. I turn back to NL.

I have tried many plugins for getting my website translated in many languages and all of them lack of something, even qTranslate, which is a VERY good one too, but you can’t deactivate it or your website becomes a completely mess. So this plugin, Ceceppa Multilingua, was perfect for my needs: create new content in several languages, providing the content in all those languages by hand myself.
Some people here have told if you deactivate this plugin the routing system doesn’t work properly anymore, but that hasn’t happened to me yet, I tested it in a test project, created content in more that one language and after that deactivated the plugin and everything behave as expected.
Why 4 starts and no 5? It still has room for enhancement:
– at the beginning it may look hard to configure, though it isn’t
– when you publish a new post/page and in the same page where you created the post/page you have the option to fill the same content in other(s) language(s) but when you push the “publish” button the original content(in the preferred language) is correctly published but not the other(s), this passes to the draft section, so you have to open them and push “publish” again the post in that other language for getting it published as well.
Despite this, I recommend this plugin for those who want to have a multilingual website and want to provide the translations by themselves.

It’s not exactly that the plugin is bad, is just exhausting how complicated it is to get it to work correctly. I’ve struggled with this for a month, and it just keeps giving me new problems just when I think all is correct.
I wouldn’t recommend using it unless you’re a hardcore expert. Not for us mere humans.

Dopo aver cercato tanto tra i vari plugin multilingua, sono rimasto colpito da “Ceceppa Multilingua” (ok forse si poteva trovare un nome migliore) per la sua struttura semplice e al tempo stesso completa.
Offre un’usabilità che non ho riscontrato in plugin più famosi come WPML, xili o qtranslate e spero proprio che Alessandro prosegua il suo lavoro con nuovi aggiornamenti, per questo sta a tutti noi incoraggiarlo e sostenerlo economicamente, se lo merita!

I tried really a lot of multiple language tools, this is the most simple and best organised one. You can easiy cehck in all post overview, which post have been translated, which not. with each posting you can decide what language you want to post in.. in commination with flags icons its a really great tool..

I have instaled on older WP version, and is worked well until the first UPDATE. Not to mention that the site was hacked twice because this plugin. So my advice to everyone is that you do not use this plugin.

Hi,
I really love the plugin so far, i’m new to wordpress and searched for a plugin to show my blog in english and german. It was very easy to translate my Posts, Title of the Site and widgets. But I cant translate my template… (i made my own template). When i go to “my translations/template” i get the error No .po files found and Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in .../wordpress/wp-content/plugins/ceceppa-multilingua/admin/po-parser.php on line 66 ??
I tried to use the shortcodes in my template, but that also does not work.. maybe someone can help me?
