does this indicate that I can use cb parallax?
Also I’m at WP 5.4.so I’d have to see if it works.
Is horizontal parallax effect using the cbparallax plugin is possible in divi theme?
Please refer the background image at the top in the site: https://seth.tmsite.co.uk/
We want this horizontal parallax effect to be created in divi theme for the site https://cgxdev.com/tmsite/. Is this possible using your plugin?. We dont see any option to apply the parallax effect to a particular section in your plugin settings.
Can you help?
Have an issue with the background image not showing up (cross-browsers) after WordPress updates. Has happened before.
Hello,
is it possible to change the size of the background images in “cbParallax”? The plugin seems to be generating or loading images that are 1280px wide but my customer wants a better resolution of the images. I can’t find a setting and have no clue how to modify the CSS that is being put out…
Any idea how what I can do here?
Thanks and best regards
Arne
I have used this plugin before, but only with site-wide settings. Now, on a different site, I am NOT using site-wide settings, as I only want to set the background on ONE page. I enabled “Allow Custom Settings On Posts And Pages” and used the sidebar settings in my specific page, set an image, etc, save… But nothing appears in the page.
So to be sure it’s not just covered up by background layer colors or anything like that I searched the Page Source for the filename of the image I had set. It appears nowhere in the source. I search for “cb-parallax” in the source, and nothing.
So what’s going on? if I test the site-wide settings by assigning an image, it works. But like I said, i don’t want site-wide. Just one page.

Hi again,
We’ve noticed that having CBParallax turned on in mobile view causes regular scrolling lag/glitching (it’s not a smooth scrolling experience all the time) on our home page mainly. And when you are on one of our long-scroll pages (the page linked for this request) as you are scrolling down it causes a white rectangular box to appear on the bottom of the phone screen until you reach the bottom of the page. If there is a way to address these issues, we would really appreciate it!
Thank you
Hi,
What are the minimum dimensions for enabling Parallax on an image? And what are the “optimal” dimensions for an image to have parallax (and no-repeat)?
Thank you for this great plugin!
Hello,
We are using the WordPress Collective theme and it seems to be conflicting with CBparallax. The plugin works overall, but there is a glitch where when you switch from one page to another, there is a brief moment where the background color of the theme becomes visible before the background image set in CBparallax. For example, if the background color set in the Customization menu of the theme is bright pink, you’d see a streak of bright pink each time a new page is loading before the CBparallax image becomes visible.
Is there any way to force the CBparallax image to become visible immediately without the theme background color interfering?
Thank you
Hello,
The cbParallax version installed is 0.8.6. The december corrected version.
I’ve found a javascript error:
public.js?ver=0.8.6:291 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘isScrolling’ of null
at parallaxScroll (public.js?ver=0.8.6:291)
The variable “self” seems to keep the null value into the following code:
/wp-content/plugins/cb-parallax/public/js/public.js:
parallaxScroll: function () { //(line 281)
var self = null;
if (typeof this === ‘undefined’) {
self = plug;
}
else {
self = this;
}
if (true === self.isScrolling) {
self.isSetParallaxTranslate3DTransform = true;
self.setParallaxTranslate3DTransform(self.getParallaxTransform());
}
self.isScrolling = false;
},
I don’t know if it’s a JS conflict with another plugin or a code error.
Thank you for your help
Best regards

Hello,
Thank you for this wonderfull plugin!
I’ve seen an error.
When “none” is selected into the “Overlay Image” combobox, the javascript code generated asks for “/wp-content/plugins/cb-parallax/public/images/overlays/none.png”.
Have a nice day.

HI – I am a WordPress begninner, so please bear with me…
I have installed cbParallax. I have activated it.
What do I do next? Can you help me in really simple language? (I don’t know what a Meta Box is, for example… But I am getting around WordPress pretty well!)
thanks

Hi,
My site scrolls normally on Chrome but really fast on Firefox – too fast. When I turn the plugin off it goes back to scrolling at a normal speed. Is there something that I’m doing wrong that makes both browsers scroll differently on it?
When I turn the plugin off Firefox goes back to scrolling at the same speed as Chrome.
Hi Demis!
After upgrading to Woocommerce 3.0 plugin just stoped working – I don’t see the background at all on any pages. I’ve tried to restore the Woocommerce 2.6.13 back and it works again, activate new 3.0 – no background. Nothing else is changed – same last WordPress version, same theme version, only activating new Woocommerce 3.0. Could you please take a look? Thanks!
Regards,
Andre.
My background isn’t showing up on this plugin and here is what I see in the html
<div id="cb_parallax_overlay" style="background: url("undefinedundefined");">

How do I add my image. It’s loaded on the page for setup but it doesn’t show.
Hello,
This is an amazing very usefull parallax plugin.
But, how can I delete or replace a current image on an page?
When I click on the image thumbnail, nothing is happening. The first time it open a browser window to find an image for the parallax effect. Put ones chosen an image, it seems not be possible to replace the image or even delete the image.
It should be more convenient if this will be just like to delete the image by clicking on the (x) sign in the global settings section.
Now, to only way to do it, is to modifying the WordPress database.
Maybe something to do for a next update or upgrade version?
Thanks in advance.
Greetings.
Hi! Thank you for a very useful plugin! It works perfectly, but the only thing I want to change is to make the background responsive (scalable depending of the browser window size). Usually it’s quite simple by using something like this in CSS:
background-repeat: no-repeat;
background-position: center center;
background-attachment: fixed;
background-size: cover;
But in the case of this plugin I can’t find where and how I can specify “background-size” to make it scalable. Should I change the code or I can add something to customs css to overwrite the default value? Thanks a lot!
Regards,
Andre.
I’m testing out cbParallax for a single page, but it won’t save the image I select.
Upon saving the page, it’s gone from the cb Parallax box in the sidebar.
Any idea why it wont’ save?
Hello.
We have been using the CB Parallax Plugin on https://fantasypoetrybyjongutmacher.com for quite some time. (excellent! Thank you. ) However, the last two updates have not been working.
This last update creates the following error:(even in a new WordPress Install)
Warning: require_once(/home/fantas93/public_html/poems/wp-content/plugins/cb-parallax/includes/class-cb-parallax-loader.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/fantas93/public_html/poems/wp-content/plugins/cb-parallax/includes/class-cb-parallax.php on line 104
I tried copying an old github loader file – but still not working.
Please advise.
Hi,
the parallax effect looks pretty cool on desktop-version but on mobile phone I’d like to disable the parallax effect.
Is this possible?
Thanks in advance!

Hi, I’ve been trying to get your plugin to work with a site built on the Divi theme from Elegant Themes.
I can’t get it to work, and I don’t know if it’s because I’m doing something wrong or because the plugin doesn’t function with Divi.
Do you have any information on this?
Thanks
