The RSS link takes to the category page and not to feeds. Please help.

The topic title for this support request is the first 80 characters of the error displayed at the top of the Catergory Specific RSS Menu v 2.1 page (which is at Dashboard>Settings>Category Specific RSS). The entire error reads thus:

permalink structure is ‘Post name’ but the result was the same for another custom structure as well

note that i’m using ClasicPress (forked from WP 4.9) but i believe the result was the same with WP 5.5.1

I integrated “featured categories” “by hand” in my front page (storefront)
Problem: Images (=boxes) of categories are way to huge. How and where can I adapt the size of the box, so that the result shows 2 featured categories in a row – 3 rows all together ?

plugin is creating incorrect feed URLs (option to display all feeds enabled)

incorrect URLs output by plugin:

correct URL:
history/feed

First of all, great work. It works out of the box.
But the category short code shows ALL my category feeds… what i want to show only one particular one? Is there a way/short code to do that?

This error is stopping out dashboard plugin from displaying Support Posts to our clients.

Is there a way to add the feature image of each post into the feed along with the descriptions?

All the feeds I’d like to offer have 100s of posts and I want them all to show up in the feed. The categories seem to limit each feed to only 10 – how do I increase this to list all??

Please change the word “category” to “author”, twice in this line on the plugin settings:

Show Author RSS for All Authors : If checked the plugin will display category specific RSS for all categories.

It should read like this:

I’ve recently updated a site with Twenty Seventeen child theme, and want to use this plugin. The widget successfully displayed/functioned on my testsite, using the same child theme, same settings on everything, same other plugins. However, the widget won’t display as an option to use on my finalized site. I’ve tried deactivating and reactivating, and uploading the plugin again, but to no avail. Any ideas as to what’s going on?

Great plugin with some issues…

When using shortcode in category description, I have no more access to WordPress Categories and I receive a 503 error code.

When using the shortcode in post description, all the RSS feeds are displayed even if I selected custom RSS feeds in backend settings. The same occurs with widget in sidebar.

When using shortcode in post description or widget display in sidebar, categories and subcategories appear as following.

website/categoryfeed instead of website/category/feed

Hi. I’ve just added your plugin to add category rss links to my footer. The links open in a new tab to a page full of xml script. Is this supposed to be the case? (I don’t know much about how RSS feeds work.)

I am trying to install the ‘Category Specific RSS feed Subscription’ plugin. I am new to self-hosted blogging so this could be very easy to resolve. The installation guidance asks me to unzip the plugin folder and then upload it to the WP plugin directory (or just upload via the plugin dashboard in WP). However, I can’t upload the whole folder, only individual files, and then WP returns an error message. What am I doing wrong and how do I install this properly?

I uploaded the plugin, added the url/link, and when I click on the link from the page I want it on/from the page it appears on, I get a 404 error, I am sure it operator error but if you could tell me what I’m doing wrong – or jump in. I’d be grateful.

I have added a few category id’s to the configuration but the posts are not loading in the correct order. For example 2015 posts are loading before 2016. How can I fix?

I have a blog that covers 15 professions in 53 states and territories. The blog treats each profession (Dentist, Attorney, Accountant) as a category and the territories (New York, Guam, Washington D.C.) as a tag. There is also a tag for “All.” Posts tagged as “All” are posts that would go to all in that profession regardless of locale.

I want to create a way for a Florida Dentist to subscribe to a feed that is just [please excuse the made up syntax]:”Category: Dentist, Tag: Florida, All”. This feed would also serve as the basis of a monthly Mailchimp newsletter.

What are the steps to make this plugin create all those feeds? Any tips to make this easier to do? We haven’t started yet, so if there is an easier way to do this, now is the time. Thanks!

Just installed your plugin and find out that can’t add more than one widget in my widget areas.

Plugin is working great! I just need to reverse the order of the feed. Right now it is showing oldest to newest. I need it to show newest to oldest.
