I have had a couple of design issues with Spider Catalogue which didn’t suit my website. One email to support and the problem was solved by supplying me with custom css code. Fast and efficient service. Highly recommended.

This plugin is very poorly crafted, procedural programming, lots and lots of recurring code, styling hardcoded into the template, this plugin could use a complete rebuilding, it brings tears to my eyes, I even create a wordpress account just to review it.
csv import and export is broken, this is not how a csv is normally supposed to be formatted.
I can go on, but you get the idea.

Granted I don’t expect less than 24 hour support turnaround time, nor did I expect help with styling issue but that’s exactly what I got!

I purchased the Spider Catalog and there were a few small issues that I was not able to adjust myself. When I contacted support they were very quick to help me get these issues resolved. I highly recommend plugins by Web-Dorado, they do great work.

The support staff at Spider Catalog for wordpress has been most excellent. Their reponse time and readiness to customize the pluggin for my specific needs has been extremely timely and professional. I would recomend them highly. The pluggin is also now fully responsive.

In order to have a catalogied, you must buy the plugin. Free version does nothing. Waste of my time to find this out, not paying for this.

You can’t do anything unless you buy it. Even the main options and settings are disabled so you can’t see how things might look when you change the settings.
Even though it says ‘The possibility of importing/exporting products in CSV will allow the user to make quick changes and to update the catalog easily.‘ in the description, I can’t find any way to perform these actions.
Seems to me the developers are more interested in taking your money than they are in giving you the chance to see if their product is any good.

Do not buy the full version of this plugin if you want to customize anything – I planned on adjusting the plugin to my needs and thought I could css my way out of it, but every style is hardcoded (!) and placed inside a million tables(!!!) The output and url’s are not SEO friendly in any way.

The way you put a free version, but with literally every option of the plugin blocked, is really frustrating. When i download a free version i want to be impressed, i want to be excited to see what the pro version is able to do.
Here it was a waste of time. I downloaded the free version, but couldn’t do anything without paying for the pro version.
If you can’t do absolutely nothing with the free version, why make it available for download?

I downloaded the Spider catalog for my new website about a month ago. First, I was able to customize the product presentation to look exactly as I had envisioned. The products really stand out on a page. However, in the process of fiddling with various settings and switching themes, somewhere along the line I messed up a cell width and could not recover it.
As other reviews mention, the support was fantastic. They went into my site and set everything right in less than a day. I give a full 5 stars to this product and its support team.
