Hi, Thank you for this wonderful plugin!

I’d like to limit the height of my slides so they are all 400 pixels tall. So the width will be variable. I’d also like to show 1.5 slides per screen. How can I do this so that any carousel I create has this as default?

Your plugin looks like a great solution for what i want to do. However when my paragraph description runs to two lines, it starts the next line with a visible period “.” also oddly when I tried to write the title “Conversion+” it puts the plus at the beginning of the word instead of the end. Any idea what is happening here

Can you change the position of the arrows from the left hand side of the block to the right? Or add a left pointing arrow on the left side and a right pointing arrow on the right?

Slick slider features a setting called Center Mode which displays part of the previous and next slide to the left and right of the active slide. This is a huge UX improvement that helps visitors understand there is more content to see. Can you please update Carousel Slider to support Center Mode?

I’m having an issue that all the images appear in the gallery but only the first one enlarges when clicked

First, love the plugin. But I’ve encountered a problem when using the slider inside a tab-switch-block.

On the first tab (active) everything works fine and the slider is displayed correctly. But if I switch to the second tab, no slides are visible and the block takes a huge amount of space (height). It seems like the width can not be calculated as it is set to 0 on the slide-track. On the active tab the slide-track has a correct inline style width.

Is this something that can be fixed on your side?

I wonder, is there aa way to CSS color arrows and dots? I want it on black background, hence, they disappear.

I have set slide time to 1000ms and thats how high it goes. That’s still too fast. How can bump that further? Also is it possible to delay the auto slide after load. Fx 1000ms or more. That means nothing happens for an instance and then it slides. So 2 different times here.

I have just installed your plugin. I would like to have about 7 slides each with width of say 340px and the same height. Each slide would consist of a heading, image below it, a paragraph below the image and a link below it. Is it possible to set the width?

I’ve added the translations for the French version, but I realize that the JavaScript translations for the Gutenberg block settings are not present.

Only the block title and description are translated.

Awesome plugin – we’ve had a case where we want the animation to be longer than 1000ms – but unfortunately it appears the max for range slider (maybe in Block Editor) is 1000 – can this allow longer than 1000ms?

and got it to nicely fit inside my custom theme for my client.

some of my last css changes (or some other update or so) trigger a very wired crazy behavior in the patterns editor:

any idea what is happening here?
is this a behavior that is triggerd by the plugin?
or is it something more with gutenberg itself?!

i hope to get this fixed…
any tips are welcome!!

Added a block to the page, but there’s no ‘+’ sign to add a slide. Looks like a paragraph block.

ps, thanks for this plugin, it works simply and well so far and I think less likely to not work. I’ve tried many others, including Modula, and other high ranking photo galleries. They all seem to develop problems after a short time, security alerts, or performance errors/clash of one kind of another. This just works and shows the images. It may not be as slick/sophisticated as the others but it works and I won’t find it just doesn’t show at all after an update.

When editing captions, it seems to demand an individual caption edit per image inside the edit gallery block, rather than the normal edit in the media library edit caption/descriptions which connect to within the gallery edit block. I have to delete/remove an image and then re add it to get the update caption to show. Can this be improved?

Your plugin is perfect for my needs – but I have a problem with the responsitivity on mobile. The slider works perfectly on desktop, but although I have set the breaking point at 360px with one slide to show, it doesn’t work on my phone. It just shows all the slides without sliding at all.

I tried to inform myself on the forum, but I can’t find the reason. Maybe there is something overriding?

Hi, thank you for the great carousel. I’ve been experimenting with adding the ‘All Reviews’ Woocommerce block. Ideally I would like each slide to be a new review.

You can order ‘All Reviews’ eg by most recent. So if you add this block to each slide, you need to be able to offset, to ignore the last most recent.

I haven’t been able to achieve this via CSS or find anyone who’s done this yet. Hope you can help suggest how to do this. Thank you!

After the latest update, the plugin seems broken. In the console, I can see the following error:

Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(...).slick is not a function

which comes from here:

jQuery(".wp-block-cb-carousel").slick();

After the latest update (or possibly the update to WP 6.5.2) the plugin is now looking for the build/carousel/view.js file in a non-existent directory.

It’s looking here:
/wp/wp-content/themes/oxygen-is-not-a-theme/home/tobemaga/public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/carousel-block/build/carousel/view.js

It should be looking here:
/wp/wp-content/plugins/carousel-block/build/carousel/view.js

WordPress is installed in a directory ( /wp ).

I’ve implemented a short-term fix of creating the previously non-existent directory and copying the file view.js into that directory.

The carousel began acting very strangely after updating to 1.0.11, I use it as a logo carousel and it was showing duplicates and they were stacked in weird ways instead of being side by side. I rolled back to 1.0.10 and everything is working again as expected. I can send screenshots of what happened if needed.

As seen in other carousel plugins, adjusting the height of the images to have a equal height would be important, otherwise users have to cut images to an equal height – what amateur users normally don’t manage to do.

Under ‘Featured Services’ the slider is used and there are no ‘previous’ and ‘next’ buttons displaying as the coding isn’t setup properly.

Tested some code and adding the font size got the words displaying but I can’t replace the wording, ‘Next’ and ‘Previous’ with Arrows instead as looks better? Also would like to set a background under the arrows for not-active and hover?

Nothing is displaying on the mobile view either with ‘Next’ and ‘Previous’?
