]]>I receive this notice from CAptcha bank. I’ve had it since forever, and somewhere along the lines, this is appearing now in my WP admin on every single page. At some point with the auto-updates it has caused this error.
What sucks is I thought by uninstalling the plugin and then reinstalling would resolve the issue, but it didn’t. To make it worse, I lost all those settings I had set before they’ve gone “premium only”. :-/

Thread StarterIf you log in, the captcha warning is on the right side that says terms and agreement but the actual captcha isn’t where the comment section is.. If you try to leave a comment you will get.

I have entered the site key and the secret key
I already own the site and went through that with google
It says – “ERROR for site owner: Invalid key type” in the preview area (I copied the key verbatim for v3)

I have written directly twice on this with no response. Also, this has happened in the past. When activated, I get locked out of Word Press and my host has to go in an deactivate the plugin.

]]>Your plugin fail with plugin “Admin Custom Login” since last upload.
The numbers of the operation to solve no longer appear on the login page, so I could not go back to my site.

My IP address is being added automatically to the Captcha Bank “blacklist IP address” list. After working in my WordPress admin account, my IP address is added to the blacklist and, upon logout, I receive the message:
“Your IP Address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx has been blocked by the Administrator for security purposes. Please contact the Website Administrator for more details.”
(In above message I’ve replaced my IP address with x’s for security purposes.)
Other plugins I have installed include Wordfence and Easy Updates Manager paid versions. Easy Updates Manager was just installed this morning, but it was also installed on other sites that are not experiencing this problem.

The problem occurs with ANY browser and ONLY when the plugin is activated. If plugin is disabled, it is possible to login again.

I just moved my site to a new host and was finding my wp access very slow. The progress bar would move a couple of cm and then stop for up to 60 secs before completing and loading the page.
Testing a non wp link to my site was nearly instant so it seemed it was something to do with wp. As I previously had issues with captcha-bank I logged in a deactivated it. Logged out and tried again. No difference.
I then logged out, removed the plugin entirely and logged in again.
Instant access. Not only to admin area of site, but to the site in general.
I replace the captcha-bank plugin and tried to access my site again.
60 secs!
Removed it, near instant.
For now I will do without the plugin.
I had to uninstall the Captcha Bank plugin, because I had a White Screen of Death on front-end due to the Captcha Bank top admin menu (when I was logged in). I had the same issue with the Yoast SEO top admin menu as well, but fortunately they offer an option to deactivate it.
That is probably due to some conflict with the theme of the website (Isotope from Rocket Theme) which require 2 necessary plugins: Gantry and Timber, which I suspect to have a odd behavior on some cases.
Anyway, I suggest you add an option (maybe in “other settings”) to deactivate the top admin menu, when needed.

]]>Yesterday (Sept 1, 2018 – Australia) I went to update a post and was unable to access my site. The debug logs in Safari showed an access error while trying to load the site. I then checked another site on my “server” and had no trouble at all.
It was a WP issue. I then FTP’d to the site and moved all plugins to a temp folder and tried again. I got straight in!
Placing the plugins back bit by bit I discovered the Captcha-Bank plugin to be the cause.
I downloaded a new copy from www.remarpro.com and uploaded it.
Same thing, unable to even get the home page to show.
Removed it and got in.
Came to www.remarpro.com and clicked on the link to check the plugin developer’s site.
No go.
The link on the wordpress site just returns you the the wordpress site. (note this behaviour is not consistent and depends on whether I am trying on my Mac or on my iPad.)
Doing a google search to find a “raw” link to their site…
same result. Safari reports a protocol error and cannot connect to site.
I am assuming that the plugin “phones home” and maybe this is why it is preventing access. Who knows?
Seriously, does anyone know what is going on?
Is “Tech Banker” still in operation?

I installed your plugin yesterday. Looks interesting but it makes pages loading terribly slow on my site, including login, dashboard pages, frontend pages, whether connected or not to the site… everything is slow. Each page takes close to one minute to load.
For now I deactivated the plugin and I am looking for other plugins but if you have a solution to offer, I’d be glad.

We detected hacker activity on our site, so our webmaster installed and configured Captcha Bank for the WP Admin page, setting the security very high. So high that nobody can now login. How can we edit or disable this so that login is possible, then we can adjust it to something more appropriate?
