The plugin uses standard wordpress comments system.
It’s causes lots of errors – the code is bad (close php tags, deprecated functions, unsafe sql queries).
The plugin left its table in the database after it was uninstalled.
And what is more important, the plugin is NOT FREE

Если бы давали пробный 7-и дневный период то с вероятностью 90% я бы оплатил и пользовался плагином, а так увы приходится использовать бесплатные аналоги, т.к. не факт что после оплаты плагин понравится покупателю

Здравствуйте. Обнаружил ошибку для плагина WordPress Комментарии, в файлах comment-template.php и counter.php для языка de (немецкий) не закрыт case, т.е. не поставили break из-за этого для немецкой версии сайта комментарии отображались на латышском языке. Просьба исправить и перезалить плагин. Спасибо.
P.S. Писал про данный баг на support[at]cackle.ru еще в апреле, но до сих пор не пофиксили.

1. They put their link into the front-end form though it is against the WP rules. If you want to remove it – just pay.
2. You don’t really administrate your comments – you have to register on their site and all the information leaks to them, even if you have paid them.

It’s surprisingly good if you need to customize your blog. It’s way more customizable than disqus. For example, it supports multiple comment sections in the same page, (more or less) responsive design, limiting number of comments loaded, etc. And all of these can be done in javascript API, so you can have different settings in a single site.

It’s very good plugin by itself. I even wrote a positive review abut it in my blog. Also a lot of cons
It’s not free but fully paid plugin. At first it was a problem to pay using Paypal, I managed to do it not from designed option in plugin itself, but from developers main page. Then after purchase at cost $16 a year it worked for me nicely for just about 2 weeks then problems started. For now it says in admin panel “Your account is not verified. For registered Email we sent letter to verify registration.” Even it is fully registered and paid for. I Send couple of emails as only mean of communication to sales and technical departments, but for now after more then 3 days past nobody even bothers to reply me.

When you install the plugin and register in admin as instructions say, you have to buy to use it, but plugin description does not say anywhere that a purchase is required.
Perhaps there was a free version, but it no longer seems to be free. No idea why it is in the plugin directory and misleading like that.

Installed the plugin, created an account to get the keys and after signing in apparently it wants you to purchase the plugin and additional addons?
Not sure if the install instructions are outdated or if it’s been changed but I don’t understand if this is free or if you have to pay to get basic functionality. Either way it’s confusing, uninstalled for now. Maybe I will come back to it in the future if I don’t find anything else.

Работает замечательно, все круто. Но ребята 500 рублей в год, даже не разово, а в год. Имхо жлобство, да я все понимаю, но на WordPresse люди делают свои блоги не от того, что у них куча денег, а как раз наоборот. Плагин для больших сайтов, которые зарабатывают деньги, но не для простых блогов.

В настройке плагина написано Please, register to obtain your Site ID, Account API Key, Site API Key. и ссылка на добавление нового сайта https://cackle.ru/site/new – но она не работает – а когда жмешь новый сайт – то там все за деньги!

A brilliant replacement for Disqus, after months of being messed around by their support and constant barrage of failing scripts from Disqus servers, Cackle keeps the comment system simple but they have been able to add many features you would find in Disqus. Cackle support is also spot on, couldn’t rate this plugin high enough!
