So after a successful migration (using this WP plugin), on the destination application, you will have some duplicate tables from the original Cloudways created empty WordPress in the destination instance (they start with “wp_*”).

]]>WIth the update to 4.97, the plugin seems to have a big issue. Our server instance’s CPU utilization went from an avg of 4% to 100%. This happened yesterday, not long after the update to the new version (4.97) and my use of the new plugin. The Cloudways support person made some adjustments to PHP-FPM parameters, which brought the utilization back down. At the time, the view that the support person had indicated that a migration was ongoing (it had completed many hours earlier). For the time being, I have disabled the plugin.
]]>Hello,
Please check the post at https://sg.godaddy.com/help/activate-my-reseller-store-plugin-6261
There is white brand plugin support domain reseller program.
I know there is also a reseller program on cloudways, but, is there a similar white brand plugin to support VPS selling?
Thanks
]]>I already migrated a copy of the source site to my destination Cloudways server.
I want to pull a NEW copy of the source site to that same destination Cloud-ways server using this plugin.
Can I safely do so, and will it overwrite the existing cloned site? (which is what I want).

]]>Hi.
Can your plugin move WordPress multisite? There’s no info in the description.
Have a nice day

Hi
I want to ask if this plugin also works for transferring site from Cloudways to Cloudways (same server, another app). More precisely: I need to transfer site from one WordPress app on Cloudways to another Woocommerce app on Cloudways.
I recently migrated a WordPress site to a new Cloudways account using the Migrator. The migration process was quick and painless, which is great, but … the Cloudways Migrator added a plugin, MalCare Security, and activated it without notifying me or asking me for permission to do so.
Now, MalCare may be a perfectly good and useful plugin, but I sure don’t like a program messing with my WordPress files without my permission.
Can someone associated with this plugin please tell me why it does this without notifying the user?
]]>Will this plugin work if the existing site is localhosted?
Also after the migration is done, will the process affect / change the existing site, i.e. the localhosted site in this case, in any way?
Thank you.
]]>Hello,
If you forget to add any of the fields and hit migrate, then it does server side validation and clears all the fields and you have to re-enter everything again.
I would recommend updating this to do client side validation to stop having to re-enter everything again.
Also your documentation is out of date and does not reflect what this plugin screen provides.
cheers
Jamie.
]]>Woocommerce Migration to Cloudways, any experience ?
hello,
Has anybody used this plugin to move a Woocommerce shop from another host to Cloudways ?
Thank you for sharing your experience.
]]>Hello,
I want to try your migrator.
Will this delete the website on the old host?
I assume not…
Also, I assume I have to change the DNS from the old host to the new host?
Thank you for your help.
]]>Please add capability of migration from sub directory to sub directory.
I usually install WordPress to sub directory and show it as root for security and preventing root gets messy.
i.e.
installed
https://www.johndoe.com/wp/
refer this
https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/install-wordpress-subdirectory/
like popular PHP frameworks, I think package should be installed in sub directory.
]]>I have just migrated a website over from a server on to Cloudways
I had left the website in the current state and have migrated it with the Cloudways migrating tool.
However upon opening the migrated website I’m now unable to see the plugin updates which were available for download on the previous server.
Old server I could see view details on each plugin
Cloudways I can only see visit plugin site
This there a piece of code which I need to add to the new server?
