I kept this one deactivated in the hope that its functionality would come back after an update – or with a message that this and that prevents it from working due to an incompatibility. When it worked it was such a pleasure – but no more. First it still worked in classic editor – but not even that is working now. I tried it the last time about 2 years ago. There was an update 5 months ago. Not sure what changed – but alas it is over. The time spend to desperately try get it to work should be saved for doing actual work. Like going back and forth to the post list and choosing the next one.
Bye bye old friend, I will set you on your ship and light the fire.

works well with the latest 6.1.1 WordPress and WooCommerce and custom post types,
you need to add post types to line 47;
The original 47-line code is
$supported_types = array(‘page’, ‘post’);
I have WooCommerce products and CPT testimonials, then it becomes to
$supported_types = array(‘page’, ‘post’,’product’,’testimonials’);
dear Aftab Muni, you will win more the “5 stars” if your FAQ list covers WooCommerce products and CPT.

Used this on a multi-site installation. Will be using it on every WP I set up.
Excellent. Thanks.

This works great and is very useful, thank you. I would love to have these buttons on single media pages – well just like it was in WordPress 4……… (
I think this plugin should not exist but be a standard feature in WP.

It works but it’s limited to Posts and Pages only. No other post types seem to be supported. Event, Products, etc… no good.

I uploaded it to two website (on different hosts) that are both Multisite.
First: WordPress 5.2.3 | PHP 7.3.7-1+ubuntu18.04.1+deb.sury.org+1 | nginx/1.14.0 | MySQL 10.3.16-MariaDB-1:10.3.16
Second: WordPress 5.2.3 | PHP 7.0.33 | Apache | MySQL 5.6.41-84.1
It works as expected with Posts only. I tried Pages, Projects, and Events (Modern Events Calendar Lite plugin) but they did not have the arrows. On the first one I use Divi for everything and it still works fine.
