Thanks for the great plugin, but squeezing it in the nav menu right below “Media” is too much. It doesn’t belong there and should live under “Settings”.
]]>I have tried creating a button using both the Block and as a shortcode, but in both cases the button is not displayed on the saved webpage. Other types of blocks (including other types of button blocks) placed in the same position are displayed properly. I like the configurability of this button block and would prefer to use it, but not if it won’t display!
]]>I realize that it’s satisfying as a plugin dev to see your plugin in the main navigation… but it this dev UX or really end user UX? We don’t really need it to bloat the main navigation.
AT LEAST give us the option to hide it behind another menu (Settings seems logical). Really should be the default with the option to pull it to the main nav if the user wants.
Sorry I had looked all over for this setting and found it just after posting. I couldn’t see a way to delete the post so am marking it resolved.
I’m using the button to link to a booking form. I’d like this to open in a new tab. Is this possible?
]]>Hello.
Thanks for the button plugin, it really fits me very well.
I’m using it to insert hotel affiliate links on my website, so I should add “rel sponsored attribute” to all the links. I don’t see the option to add attributes and I couldn’t figure out how to solve it by myself.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
]]>I’d like my button to do two actions: download a file and then afterwards, enable a shortcode or URL link to drive a second action (such as a pop-up asking if the user would like to join a mailing list). Is this possible with yuor plug-in?
]]>Hi again ??
Just some feedback. Currently the plugin does not allow to add an ID on a button and neither does it allow to define the button as having no link at all (as far as I understood it). That makes it impossible to use the plugin to create buttons linked to some action/js/script instead of a link or download.
Just some ideas for further improvement ??
Have a good one.
]]>I could do that with CSS but I wonder, is there a way to make a button transparent? I can set up a background but can I set it to “no background” (background:transparent)?
]]>There seems to be a bug that makes it impossible to create a button with no icon. I create a button it has the paper plane icon by default and when i select “no-icon”, the icon remains, in the editor and on the front end.
]]>Is this normal and/or necessary that the /dist/editor.js is added on front-end?
200ko of scripts to add 2 buttons is really huge.
]]>Do you plan or think that would be a way to add the possibility to add custom icons? Either from the admin interface so we can add our own SVG icon
or/and with a filter or something that would allow for devs to change the icons in the icon font?
If you allow both you will have a plugin that can have a very wide range of use cases, with a great UI.
