Works very well. Saved me a LOT of time. Hint: you must first select “attach” before you can “use as featured image”

I don know how t works, should be deleted

Works as stated.
In case anyone gets lost, refer to the screenshots. Basically, after installing and activating this plugin, you need to go to your media and view in “List” view. The “use as featured image” option will only appear for each image, if you have used the image in a post but have not set it as featured.

Worked very well.
Just go to your media library and choose to view by posts. That way you can see which posts have a featured image and which do not. Takes a bit of exploring to understand how to use the plugin but, it does work!
If you have trouble change your view of the media library to list (top left). Then click on “uploaded to” to get the list to come up via post. You can see each image added to each post. If one image does not say to make it the featured image – THAT is the current featured image in the post.
Quite simple once you get the hang of it.

I had to import a site from wordpress.com, using a theme all based on featured images.
Thank you very much for this solution

A great plugin for fixing posts that don’t have a featured image. Used in tandem with the admin screen’s ability to sort by post title, it works great and saves a *lot* of time.

Sometimes the link is there and sometimes it does not. Even when both images are allready featured images. And if you select the image as “use this as featured image” nothing happens.
