Since v3.9 ou v4, the plugin is useless with BudyBoss : nothing is sent, nothing is stored in the waiting list…
It’s a shame, it was very helpful. Hope developers will have the time to work on it!

Sorry, please delete my review, because I selected the wrong plugin.
Thank you.

No problems, worked right ‘out of the box’ ??

Works like a charm!
Moreover the dev is very responsive.
A must-have to allow BP users to set their group email digest.

It’s got a few quirks (don’t deactivate the “Activity” component in BP or it will disappear!) but it’s been working like a tank for years and years. Used it with large communities of thousands without major problems. There’s really nothing else like it as far as I can see. Thumbs up!

I have been looking for these features from the first installation of BP. It is exactly one would expect BP to do. Should be in the core!
Standard setting should not be no emails, but daily digest f.e. to notify starting group members.

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function bp_core_admin_hook() in…
Pretty bad when you can’t get a plugin installed! Too bad, looked like just what I needed.

I have asked for help on this but have received none. The plugin works to send daily digest emails of buddypress posts (but only to specific groups, not general posts), but doesn’t include any Forum activity at all, even if the person is signed up to receive daily digest emails in that forum.

Works great with WP 4.2.1 and BP 2.2.3.1. Documentation is very poor but I managed to set it up completely in a few hours. Currently I am working on Romanian translations that I will be happy to provide to be included in the next update. Great work.

Works prefectly
However, one point, the menu item in the wp-admin area is a bit strange as it simply says “BuddyPress” – not sure why this is. It looks as if it is the main buddpress menu rarther than just a plugin, however the main bp menu is ofcourse in Settings > Buddpress.

If you have a serious Buddypress site you should consider this plugin.

This is the go-to plugin for email subscription management to BuddyPress groups. Unfortunately, there is not very much documentation accompanying it, and many queries about functionality and customization go unanswered on the forums.

I installed this plugin with the hopes of having users receive all forum posts unless they adjust their forum settings otherwise. I never even saw the screen shot for the selections.
I’m disappointed to see the last post here is from April with no response.

Unfortunately I’m not getting any notifications from this plugin. In my case my groups don’t have any forums so I’m trying to get activity notifications set up. Hope to see this fixed soon. Thank you!

Hello! I installed this plugin, but it’s not working:
When I click on “follow” forum topics, I do receive notifications, but only because I’ve selected that from an existing forum topic. I don’t receive any notification when someone replies to my forum post, or just after me. Furthermore, I don’t receive any daily/ weekly summary, nor do I receive an email where there are new topics. Any solutions?

Probably THE plugin you must install on a buddypress network, if you want people to take on discussions. Without an email notifications, it would be very difficult to have any traffic.
A chance : Buddypress Group Email Subscription is there ! ??
