The “Following” sub-tab of Activity displays the user’s own activity, not the users they’re following (in other words, it works the same as the “Personal” tab).

Also, I confirm the bug reported here – I’ve temporarily fixed it by switching to the bp-follow-notifications.php file from the latest version of buddypress-followers (I prefer the way your plug-in works apart from these two bugs, however).

Hey, great plugin!

It’s very simple to use yet very effective. I was wondering though if it was possible to alter the widget or make a new one that shows the people following you instead of the people you are following.

And also is it possible to make the widget show the followers of a user according to bp_displayed_user_id()?

I have installed on a Multisite and it appears to be all working except the actuall Follow button is not appearing on any of the profiles. The Follow tab is visible but no Follow button.

Can you please provide instructions on how to completely uninstall and remove all info this plugin creates when installed? I tried to delete it from the plugin area but it left “follow” buttons in various locations on my site. Please advise. Cheers!

If you don’t mind I need a favor from you. I am working on a local server on my pc. There is plugin called “Urdu Formatter – Shamil”. It is for urdu formatting. It works fine with php 5.3 but not on php 5.4 would you please make it according to php 5.4. It is very simple and small plugin only one php file. I don’t know coding that’s why I am asking you because plugin author did not respond me, I tried several time but he is not interested.

When I use short odes [urdu][/urdu],[english][/english],[urdu_text][/urdu_text],[english_text][/english_text] with php 5.4. I receive these messages:

Hi, I have buddypress installed in a multisite environment, in which the database is shared across the system. Within the multisite, I have several sites each with a different themes and a unique set of users on each site. When someone is following a person, and they “click through” to their profile page, is it possible to have it show under the correct theme that the “followee” is using? For instance, the url of some of our users is structured like:

I just installed your plugin and when I select ‘Follow’ from the Profile Menu, it jumps the menu into two rows showing the same menu items twice.

Other than that it seems to work great!

Hello,

i tried to translate but it doesnt work. At first you are using in bp-follow-loader load_textdomain. Thats not correct. Correct is: load_plugin_textdomain. I have changed it to this:

function bp_followme_action_init()

But it is still not working. I don′t understand why. Do you have an idear?

Hi,

nice plugin to use, am using it with wp single 3.5 and buddypress 1.6.3, working fine but only problem is the notification, when a user A follow user B it will get a notification and when user A unfollow user B (right after following) the notification did not remove.

Please fixed this issue, this happens in the old follower plugin also. thank you so much

Great plugin! I just have two feature requests.

1. Tie this into the notifications? So when a person you are following makes a new blog post, you receive a notification about it.

2. Add a widget to display the follow button in the sidebar? This way you don’t have to go into the users profile to follow them, the “follow” will display on their blog sidebar. (This is for multisite obviously)

I just tested this with the BP 1.7 trunk and it doesn’t seem to work – no follow buttons show up on profiles or directories. I know it’s early, but I just wanted to report my testing in case that helps. Thanks!
