I’m having an issue with the Profile Field Links setting. Even though I have it selected, the field values on a user’s profile page is still linked.

I know at one point I used a Buddypress code to deal with the auto-links in the bp-custom,php file before I used this plugin, but took it out afterwards.

Oddly enough, with or without the code, whether the plugin has the option selected or not, Buddypress still sets the auto-links.

Any thoughts on this issue?

thanks for this. I am testing it and it works fine with renaming and removing of tabs in the member pages.
But if I set positions, nothing changes.

Would it be possible to add this, even though I change the order of Group Settings tabs , the ‘Home’ tab is always highlighted and showing first , could maybe whatever is set to the first position be the one that is shown by default?

Upon changing any settings whatsoever in member settings, I get an error on the member pages from nav menu down.

The group settings work as expected and very well. This is the only simple way I found to change the tab names and I need it!

I am running buddyPress 1.7 nightly on a multisite install with buddyPress running only on the root site.

I have tried both network activating, and also just activating the extended settings plugin on just the buddyPress site, but neither approach shows the network tab on the settings page.

This one is strange because in the past, I was able to see the extended settings tab, using buddyPress 1.7. I am not sure what changed, if anything, but for some reason, now I am not able to see the extended settings tab.

I do not see any errors in either the browser or the log files, so I doubt there is any error involved causing the tab to not display. This leaves me with little to nothing to do in order to track the problem.

Overall a nice plugin!

However, I have issues with your implementation of internationalization.
Your loading call “load_plugin_textdomain” is all correct, but the textdomain you’re loading then is nowhere to be found within the strings of your plugin.

Most of your text strings have no gettext syntax yet and the few that have it already have a wrong textdomain (like “bpes”) or none yet.

Please unify all existing textdomains to the one you’re loading and add gettext syntax for each and every string no matter if frontend or backend usage.

Then in the end your plugin is a jewel for every international BP admin! :-))
