Hello, thank you for this plugin
The Phone, Bio and Email fields are not displayed on the page after submission.
I tested with 2 themes. I have no other plugin in place.
Thanks
]]>I installed the Post Form (Buddyforms) plugin but after some it stared shwoing the below error.

When I try to reinstall the plugin, it still shows the same issue.
The issue is removed when I disable the plugin from the backed.
]]>Hi, thanks for offering the buddyforms plugin. I really like it. I’ve just started testing it out on my site for about a week or so now and just discovered today that it seems to cause a conflict with the Kadence theme. The layout when trying to insert images into pages is not working properly it is impossible to add images. It also changes labels in some of the admin forms, like Kadence elements where users can duplicate elements. When buddyforms is activated, the labels are changed and reflect those that are available for the buddyforms post forms. This doesn’t happen 100% of the time. After deactivating buddypress and reactivating the plugin, everything in the Kadence theme seems to work fine but then after a time, the bugs will suddenly appear once again. Thanks again for developing the plugin. I hope you’ll be able to resolve the issue, I’d really like to continue using it but if the conflict is persistent I’ll have to find another front end form and I have tried a few others, yours is very nice.
]]>Hello,
I want to hook into the form submission. For example I want to check if the email from the form, matches from a list of emails. And return an error if it doesn’t match.
I tried buddyforms_update_post_args and buddyforms_after_save_post, but this will already create the post and only after they will do my logic.
I tried also buddyforms_process_post_start, but this I think is a old hook that doesn’t exists anymore.
I’ve created a basic form using the template, however the plugin appears to be stripping out Script tags around the Add Shortcode button functions, leading to code being shown on the page (see below). Any ideas?
]]>Hello,
I received the following php warning from the plugin:
Warning: Undefined array key “slug” in /home/clients/7593e0463dbecc1ffde2a35a472629b3/web/wp-content/plugins/buddyforms-hook-fields/includes/list-all-post-fields.php on line 250
What should I change?
Thank you in advance
Hi, I tried your plugin, and didn’t work so I deleted it. After deleting it shows that the theme needs this plugin to work. Can you help me asap with what it left on the site that requires the plugin? Thank you!
]]>Hello. I’m having an issue uploading image in post form. I can see it trying to upload, but then I get a Request timed out after 30000 seconds. Where do I fix this?
]]>“This plugin has been closed as of January 12, 2023 and is not available for download. This closure is temporary, pending a full review.”
This message has popped up and wanted to know why that is?
I had compared a few forms and went with this one, but see it is unavailable at the moment, I still have it and wonder if it will return
I have created a post submission form with buddyforms and added it to a page for logged in users. Everything works great except for one thing. I have a plugin called myCred that gives users points for certain tasks called hooks. There is a hook for users that publish post. The issue is that when a user submits a form through buddyforms, it goes into my posts section on admin panel where it stays for admin moderation. I can reject the submission but can’t approve it. The only way is to publish their post myself which seems to be why they don’t get points. Anything I can try?
]]>Our multisite has used the front-end posting plugin for a long time. However, in the past year or two, an odd thing has happened. On SOME of the sites, the content area background color bleeds into the edit window so that there is no distinction between the edit area and the area around it.
I have tried many fixes and even tried a couple other front-end posting programs. THEY ALL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. So I know it is not a problem with Buddy Forms, but with how WordPress is handling background colors. In the WP Appearance settings I have set background colors for posts and pages to be WHITE but it doesn’t take effect! Furthermore, I cannot identify any consistent difference between the folders (subsites) where it works as it should and folders (subsites) where the problem persists.
I am up-to-date with the plugin, WordPress, and my theme (Weaver Xtreme).
I am not a programmer so I’m looking for a solution that can be applied by a non-technical (but WordPress-experienced) user.
I realize that it is not your responsibility to fix WordPress problems but I was hoping that either you or readers to these topics might have an idea. Thanks.
]]>I saw this as an earlier resolved topic. I am still experiencing the whitespace issue on 2 fields on my form: Book Title and Author.
It might make a difference that these fields are “Autofilling” by retrieving data from an API, once the user begins typing a book title. When they then make their choice it also fills in the author.
]]>Whenever I submit the form, it is removing the @ from the email then telling me it isnt a valid email.
example, I enter [email protected]
I get a message sayingnamewhatever.com is not a valid email.
since the 1th of July this plugin is not working correctly anymore. If a user fills in an answer with spaces: Firstname Lastname, then this is stored as: FirstnameLastname. especially in the comments field it is difficult to read a text without any white spaces.
2nd: if a user selects multiple options on a MultiSelect then only 1 item is stored and emailed. I have checked SQL Database, and 2nd value is not stored to Db.
3th: if i look at the submissions: /PAGE/view/FORM_SLUG then I see now https://FirstnameLastname
instead of Firstname Lastname
is this a known problem, or is it possible that another plugin is causing this behaviour?
i have updated this plugin in my test WordPress installation too, and there I see the same behaviour.
]]>i need advise which when i submit a post
i can see post status in profile
the themes that i used it is buddyboss

]]>Hi,
I have a form on my site that users can upload a post and then it redirects to the post page when published. However, I seem to be getting a red error bar with no error message – it just says “0” and the post does not redirect. It was published, but redirection to the post doesn’t happen. How can I fix this?
]]>I’m trying to build a Buddyform form to plop on a page where people can update their user info such as email, username, and password etc. But when it’s set to a registration form it errors and I gather because the submitter is already registered and signed in. Is there a way to add another form type like “Update Profile” in addition to “Registration”, “Post Form”, and “Contact Form”?
]]>Hey there
thank you for this fantastic plugin.
My question:
I try to display a specific form only to a specific role. I used this:
—————–
<?php if( current_user_can(‘activate_plugins’) ) { ?>
[bf form_slug=”publish-test”]
<?php } ?>
—————–
but I am not a pro. The form still shows up regardless of the user role. Can someone help to tweek this ?
Regards
Dee
Has anyone else had this problem with Captcha V2 failing on buddyforms so the form fails to submit?
ERROR MESSAGE:
The following errors were found:recaptcha_response_field: Error: The reCATPCHA response provided was incorrect. Please try again.
I’ve triple checked all my Captcha keys and in fact the same keys work with things like my Stripe payment forms on the same site.
And the buddyforms work fine without the captcha field.
I’m guessing its a plugin conflict but any other suggestions?

]]>Hello, this plugin is very robust and powerful, thank you for that!
I’ve tried to check the accessibility of the forms created with the plugin using the Wave plugin for Chrome, I’ve seen there seems to be some issues with labels – empty labels, labels that are not connected properly and some missing labels. Any chance these bugs are going to get fixed?
At least here in Israel, accessibility is required by law for most websites.
After filing the form and adding the code im getting this error… What am I doing wrong?
