At least that is what shows up when I add the short code to one of my pages.
It looks like this plugin has become incompatible with the current WordPress and/or BuddyPress. I guess this project is dead, it’s a shame though.
I wish that BuddyPress would have shortcodes for all their pages (like bbPress did), it would make a world of difference in customizing the site.
All I want is to add a paragraph to the beginning of the registration page, that is it and I can’t even do that.
If the original developer has indeed abandoned this project, I hope that another programmer could look at this and maybe provide a fix to make it work again or develop their own.
]]>I currently have BuddyPress v7.2.1 & BP Registration widget v2.1.2 installed on a live site.
If I update BuddyPress in my staging enviroment, shortcode-form-template.php breaks. It looks like the $bp object has been altered.
Is a BP Registration widget update pending to fix this?
]]>When I enter [buddyRegisterFormCode] into new test page Text editor and save it produces no form on the page when viewing. Any ideas what I did wrong?
]]>Hi, I have a problem in user registration process.
When a new user proceeds to register he/she receives a confirmation email with a link to click on. But after clicking on the link instead of re-directing to login page an ERROR message comes up.
At the same time, in the admin page this user is listed as pending user which needs to get approved manually.
I’m looking for a way to have it done automatically.
Any help is appreciated.
]]>Hi, I want to create a WordPress page with the registration form inside, as the sidebar is small compared to the registration form and therefore cannot be used properly …
Can you give me a hand please?
]]>i have to remove the shortcode. buddyboss is based on buddypress…this shortcode “almost” works, but at the moment it breaks the pages it’s placed on and crashes the server.
any tips?
]]>I am using the shortcode on a custom registration page, however, even though I add the text above the shortcode, the form is appearing above my text. I would like my text to appear as a introduction to the page before users fill in the registration form.
How can I have the form appear below the text?
Any ideas or help gratefully received.
Thanks.
]]>As the title says, I’d like to modify the form template.
I found the template ‘wp-content/plugins/buddy-registration-widget/templates/form-template.php’ and updated it, but it will probably get overwritten in the future.
I’ve temporarily disabled the updates for this plugin, but having customization not disappear would be great.
best regards
NOTE: to anyone who’d need info, here’s how I disabled the plugin update

]]>This plugin is extremely helpful. However, it seems to have a conflict with “BP Xprofile Location.”
“BP Xprofile Location” uses Google to autocomplete location entries, for the new user. When I use the 2 plugins together, XP Xprofile Location fails to work.
Thank you.
]]>Hi, I noticed a problem when buddypress is set up with a subsite as root.
For example
define(‘BP_ROOT_BLOG’, 2);
Then registration won’t work at all if the registration widget is enabled. Is it only me?
