Hi, have you also experienced that avast security allerting the site and block to access? If I turn off the plugin, site works fine.
It writes: Threat name: Script-inf [Susp]
I also updated my btcpay server to the latest as it also gave me warning when I oppened it. After upgrading to the latest btc pay server update, warning disappeared and I could reach the btcpay server again, but the sites which were connected to the btcpay server remained the same and still has a warning message.
Thank you.
]]>Hi Team,
We are having an issue on our WooCommerce site during product checkout/payment. We are getting prompts, “There was an error processing your order.”.
Upon checking the BTCPay plugin dashboard, it shows that the BTCPay Server is connected.
However, I’ve checked the logs and saw this in the debug section.
https://prnt.sc/aqmHUMxCq3AT
It seems that the server URL returns a 500 internal server error.
We hope to get more insights into our situation, and where to start for a probable solution.
Thank you!
On our website: https://greenwebsolutions.ch we found a bug on the final step of our checkout page. When you click the final button, it takes a huge amount of time (like 5-10 sec) before the plugin opens up the BTC payment modal. There is a function that is being called 3 times… but it’s needed only 1 time. Also, there is a bug about the spinner loading. The code of the plugin blocks the asynchronous way of executing the code and waits for a request until it’s finished and then shows the loading spinner…. which in reality should be the opposite. The script code needs to be refactored. For now, we fixed the code directly on the plugin, knowing that as soon as the plugin is updated we will need to apply the fix again. So I hope you address this issue soon!

]]>Hi,
I have setup a server with custom domain name on Lunanode. I have completed everything, but when i add a custom domain in “BTCPay Server URL ” field it says “Error processing your request. Please make sure to enter a valid BTCPay Server instance URL.”
Can you please help me in this matter?

]]>The latest version of BTCPay Server 2.6.0 is only compatible with PHP8 or above. This is a very bad idea. Most WordPress websites use a plethora of plugins and themes, and upgrading a production server to PHP8 comes with potential incompatibility problems.
At the moment, BTCPay Server is the only plugin I have that is no longer compatible with PHP7.4. This means, unless I upgrade the server I will no longer have access to future security-related updates from BTCPay Server plugin.
I don’t think this was a good choice as it puts a large amount of your users outside the ability to upgrade the plugin going forward, until extensive compatibility testing for PHP8 has been done.
Why can’t you keep supporting PHP7.4 like basically all other plugins do at the moment, and provide a roadmap/timeline for a slow transition to PHP8 if it is really needed? If you gave us 6 months for example, we could properly test our websites, iron out any incompatibility problems with other plugins and themes, while still having access to BTCPay Server updates. After this, a transition to PHP8 would be reasonable.
Please look into what you can do regarding this!

]]>Hey there,
Add the possibility to go back before shopper pay the order if he regrets and wants to pay with other Payment Method.
For example:
1- User add product to Checkout, go to Checkout, selects “BTCPay” and Click on “Proceed to BTCPay”
2- On BTCPay Server there is no possible way to return to Site if user regrets and want to select other Payment Method.
Best,

]]>Hello,
I put a Czech translation to WooCommerce > Settings > BTCPayserver > Default Customer Message, but I still see the English text (You will be redirected to BTCPay to complete your purchase.) on the checkout page.
Any ideas please?

]]>If a customer pays after the timer had expired and we look up his invoice in BTC pays UI, it will show no incoming payment.
In the previous version of BTCPay it was at least possible to arrange customer notifications for these cases as in:
a. Payment received after expiration
b. Partial payment received
Its very dissatisfying for a customer (and for the seller) if he pays the invoice and we do not get any notification about it.

Hope you are fine.

Hi,
Thanks a lot for this amazing open source plugin! I’m extremely new with all the crpytocurrency world out there! So, my first question is:
1. What should I add on the BTCPay Server Payments Settings
page in the BTCPay Server URL field? Should I just add the name of my website like that? https://btcpay.MY-WEBSITE-NAME.com … and that’s all? or should I add some address of my hosting service?
2. Another question is related to where and how is the section to connect my crypto wallet ??
3. And my last question is, which free wallet with no fees would you recommend to me for an ecommerce store ?? I just have metamask, but I barely used it.
Thanks a lot for your help!
Regards,
@ndeet can we get this working with an Umbrel node? There is a BTCPay app you can install on Umbrel and has Woocommerce as an option but it doesn’t work. The “BTCPay Server URL” doesn’t exist so you can’t enter it into the v2 plugin settings. Dead end.
Seems a waste to run a full Umbrel node but then BTCPay devs say pay $7/mo for a voltage.cloud account to get it to work.
I’ve looked at the Tor reverse proxy thing and it’s too complicated.
If we could just get a “BTCPay Server URL” from the Umbrel seems then it would work.

]]>Hi, so I tried to follow the guide over here https://docs.btcpayserver.org/WooCommerce/ but I can’t for the life of me get this to work. To begin with, the guide says ”In the field “BTCPay Server URL”, enter the full URL of your host (including the https) – https://btcpay.mydomain.com” but the plugin tab says ptcpayserver instead so which is which?
Secondly, even if i type in https://btcpayserver.myurl.com and click Generate API keys it comes up with an error page ”This site can’t be reachedbtcpayserver.myurl.com’s DNS address could not be found. Diagnosing the problem.
Try running Windows Network Diagnostics.
DNS_PROBE_STARTED”.
So I tried cache clearing through WP Rocket and Cloudflare but still nothing. In addition, I don’t have any firewall.
And lastly, I tried to manually sync the shop to btcpay but no webhooks were created either. So I’m stuck here trying to figure what is going on.
P.S: I’m not a developer and thought this would be a streamlined experience.
King regards

]]>Hello,
After uninstalling the old plugin and installing this one orders, that have been paid (but not confirmed yet) appear to not switch the status to on-hold, which breaks my fulfillment server.
Could I be doing anything wrong?
EDIT: On taking a closer look it seems the order status does not change at all, even if the the transaction has confirmed and is set to “settled” on BTCPay server.
Thanks
Hello,
There is another version of this plugin which appears to be made by the same developers, but there is no explanation of why or what the difference is. Is this plugin not as safe as the other version you guys have available? When business that bring in hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of revenue from crypto, it makes sense to explain what is going on with these versions?
Many Thanks
