Hi I’ve been testing out the site under PHP v8.1, and checking the logs there were 3 warnings. I didn’t notice any issues on admin pages or on the site.

These warnings appeared before any interaction with the plugin.

Greetings, When uploading a new pdf in admin, I cannot chose a category. When I do so, I have a message saying “category must not be empty” I also have a weird behavior on my category list, all pds seems to be assigned to all categories but on front end, everything is displayed correctly. Thanks for your help.

We can’t delete free version after installing the pro version, it says “critical error on this website.” But the Site Health checker says everything’s fine. Shouldn’t the free version be deleted, or does it have to stay?

Hello, I would like to show pdfs that are included in a specific category (id = 26) and that have a specific tags (17,18).

Following the examples in the documentation here, we attempted to create a search bar for categories. However, no search bar appears, just a long list of all the documents. We’d like to be able to search for a category (and a document title if possible) and have only the results displayed. This is the shortcode example we tried:

Hello – I have two websites running BSK PDF Manager Pro Version 3.4.3 that are experiencing this issue: when adding a new PDF or editing an existing PDF, I get a 404 Page Not Found. I have tried deactivating / reactivating the plugin, and deactivating other plugins. Issue is not present on every website with BSK PDF Manager. Thanks in advance!

I have a valid license that says Expires on: 2023-02-19 23:59:59 and is active.

BSK pdf manager pro will not display anything using short codes like:
[bsk-pdf-manager-list-category id=”1″ showpdftitle=”yes” featuredimage=”yes” featuredimagesize=”thumbnail” orderby=”custom” target=”_blank”]

It just acts like the plugin is not installed or active. It is installed and is active.

It used to work before transferring live copy to beta with all-in-one-migration and then back to live.

Not sure where to start to make this work.

We’ve recently updated our WordPress site to v6.0.1 and the BSK PDF Documents plugin is now displaying all the files in the back end with the location and then in red it states “Missing file”.

I have a license to the BSK PDF Manager
I try to update .pages files but it does not upload
I can upload it in Media Manager but when clicking to attach it says “the file you selected is not supported”
I then go into BSK PDF Manager and add file type .pages
I then upload the file again.
It seems like its doing something but ends up with “missing file”
Is there an issue using “pages” files?

In versions later than 2.6.1 I have some errors:

– At frontend, the shortcode is displayed (I think I have to update the shortcode from “bsk-pdf-manager-list-category” to “bsk-pdfm-category-ul”)
– All the existing PDF/ Documents appear as “Expired”, so after updating the shortcode, nothing is displayed at frontend
– I cannot edit the existing PDF, this message appears:”Failed to update document.”. Neither can add new ones, this message appears: “Failed to add document.”

Would appreciate any help.

I have been unable to upload PDFs using your plugin since October. It worked fine before that and all the sudden stopped working. All I get now is a Failed to add document at the top of my screen. I have tried deleting some thinking there was a limit in the free version, I was at 255, but that didn’t work. I need this working.

I get this message publicly or in incognito when choosing PDFs to view.

“Security check, please refresh page and try again!”

I view everything normally and works great while logged into WordPress.

In Settings / Access, you can’t change to allow an editor access, as the box cannot be checked. However, this is not listed on top as Pro only, where it says:

“Tip: The following features only supported in Pro version.
Disable year/month directory strtucutre (sic), Change upload folder, Featured image, Statistics, Change permalink URL structure base”

Is it a Pro only feature, or is there some other problem with this?

We updated the BSK PDF Manager from 3.0.1 to 3.1.2 (free version)
However, the end-user fails to upload new PDF.

It seems
– your free version does not have thumbnail_id inside the table – bsk_pdf_manager_pdfs
– In the version 3.1.2, classes/dashboard/pdf.php (line 874) , it tries to insert the thumbnail_id into the table, and causes fail to insert into the database

        $pdf_data['thumbnail_id'] = 0;
        $pdf_data_format['thumbnail_id'] = '%d';
        if ( isset( $data['bsk_pdf_manager_thumbnail_id'] ) ){

The pro version works well for us.

The only issue I have is that we have 100+ categories, with a few hundres pdfs.

It is really difficult to sort through the categories list in the admin area of bsk pro. I would love to be able to search for a category by keyword. Right now it is super difficult for my editors to find their category quickly. The only for them to view the pdfs in their category, they have to click the PDFs count number in the right column on the category list page. But they have to sort through dozens of categories to find theirs. I definitely think a search bar is imperative for larger websites. Right now it is pretty cumbersome. Is this something you can implement in future releases?

Also, we cannot hide sub categories. So if we have 30 sub categories of one main category, it would be helpful to only be able to show top level categories in this list.

Unable to get the new version3 to work, even with new codes. Just doesn’t display within this theme. Anyone else had issues?

Hi, I recently updated my plugin version from 2.8 to 2.9.2. In 2.8 it was possible for my editors (role) to upload pdf’s with the plugin.
Since I am using 2.9.2. this functionality is no longer available. Annoying because now I have to give my editors the role admin, something I’d rather not do.

Hello, I’ve a problem with html code in description of BSK PDF document.
When I write any html code in the description and save it doesn’t work.
For example I use <br> Line Break, does not wrap and the two words stick together.

The same thing happens if I use any html code. When I save the description it resets. How can I do?
