I tested this plugin in the latest version of Chrome iOS and Android Opera, and the plugin was wrong and showing the alert to the latest browser.
I think the plugin was not updated ??
… Another problem I found is also the problem of reaching the ‘close’ in responsive sites.
As in topic.

]]>Nick, your Browser Rejector is definitely a fantastic product and I have been using it on all of the Responsive Design sites that I work on.
Obviously, you haven’t been updating the plugin frequently enough to keep up with the latest version numbers of Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, & Opera.
Therefore, I would request that you remove the version numbers from the icons you are displaying for downloading those browsers. The links still seem to be correct, although you might want to revisit them to see if they are the best to use now.

It would be great if you could include a white background option, otherwise the contrast to the page is so stark in my case?

Hello.
I’m using WordPress in a folder (_root/dev/) and am using the Gantry framework for controlling my pages. The Gantry framework is controlling the pages in a PHP app outside WP folder (in the _root). The plugin works for all the pages inside WP folder but is not working for the ones outside it (in the _root). I have tried the function browser_rejector() inside the head tag, outside the head tag and through the functions.php file, but nothing makes it work on those pages outside WP folder. Please, do you know a way to make it work there?
Thanks in advance!
Heya,
I’m currently trying to use this on a clients site to warn off all early browsers that lack css & html5 support. Works brilliantly on desktop. When I get onto mobile it still blocks it though, I’ve tried this on Chrome & Safari on mobile. Any ideas?
Thanks, Luke

]]>Hi,
In the latest version of Chrome I get the error: Uncaught TypeError: Object function (e,n){return new x.fn.init(e,n,t)} has no method ‘reject’.
<!-- Browser Rejector Reject Hook -->
<script type="text/javascript">
jQuery(document).ready(function($){
$.reject({
Uncaught TypeError: Object function (e,n){return new x.fn.init(e,n,t)} has no method 'reject'
What to do?
]]>Great plugin ??
However it appears your plugin is clashing somewhere with woocommerce product tabs, when its activated the product tabs don’t work.
Just thought I let you know.
Thanks
Hi There,
Thanks for your hard work on this nifty plugin.
I may not be able to use it however because it’s blocking the native android browser and I need it not to. Is there anything I can do to enable this browser within this plugin?
Cheers,
Michael.
]]>I’ve just been doing some HTML validity tests on my site and I picked up that the X-UA-Compatible tag that the plugin prints on each page is invalid. To fix that, I’ve wrapped it in a conditional comment, as it is only needed on IE. any chance of this making it in?
The change:
on line 391 of browser-rejector.php
echo '<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="chrome=1" />';
becomes
echo '<!--[if IE]><meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="chrome=1" /><![endif]-->';
Moving this post into a previous thread.

Deletion and reinstall does not correct the problem.

Hi,
Great plugin!
When i set “Remember if the visitor closed the rejection message” to ‘Yes’ the rejection window continues to open on every page.
Can you help?
Thanks

I’ve just installed the plugin, great stuff!
After a quick look at the code trying to figure out why my custom close window text wouldn’t apply, I’ve found a few mistakes in the code (the first of which fixes the problem):
It would be great to see these fixes in the next version.
Thank you for a great plugin!
