Although I have completed scans of posts and pages, I have noticed that the plugin continues to scan in the background as evident in the “Broken Link Notifier – Results” page.
In addition I noticed that there are approx 50 guests online visiting different posts and pages, each with a different IP address. Could it be that these are scans initiated by the Broken Link Notifier plugin?
How do I stop the scans taking place especially when I have not initiated them on the “Multi-Scan” page?
]]>When we run the Broken Link Notifier plugin, it returns a number of broken links on our site that we go to investigate. However, when we click on “Edit”, we get the following error:
“Not Found
The requested URL /wp-admin/post.php was not found on this server.”
I use the Broken Link Notifier plugin on two different sites, and both are getting this error. I’m running version 1.1.3.
]]>Just found you by checking for New Plugins (/browse/new/)
I have to ask, does/would/could you plugin check for broken links that may contain youtube. com /embed/ ? I’m guessing they would have to be checked on the admin side of things when using plugins that use a YT image placeholder image?
I’m no developer, so I hope that all makes sense.
In closing; I know many are looking for a better broken link checker from what’s available in the repo, I hope this plugin does well, BEST WISHES!
