Hello,
I’m having an issue with the BP Security plugin causing an error on my site. For some reason, my plugins page won’t show any of my active plugins. I deleted all Buddy Press plugins as we aren’t using the forum anymore, but I think the security plugin is still messing up something with the site. Below is the error I’m getting:

Can someone please help?! I’ve tried figuring out what is on line 93 but I’m also nervous to crash the site.

Can you add to registration page checkbox “I agree to the Privacy Policy” which will be checked by default.
And words “Privacy Policy” will be link to privacy policy of site.
I russian it will be looks like “Я согласен с политикой конфиденциальности”

I tried using your plugin on my registration page, but everytime I try to register, using CAPTCHA, the pages reloads and asks me CAPTCHA again.
If I use matemathic calc method, it works without any problem.

Is there any way to relocate the reCaptcha to right before the “Complete Sign Up” button? We have custom Profile Fields as part of our signup, so the captcha ends up in a bit of an odd place. See here:

your plugin, only in buddypress registration page, cause an issue like “insert again captha key”…
and this cause user cannot register.

After update to 2.1.2 from 2.1.1 my child theme overrides doesnt recognize.
Hiearchy looks same with previous version.
I and only changed few lines from “class-security-check.php” add

We are having reports of registration occastionally not working – originally we thought this was an issue unique to IE but it is now being reported on Google Chrome as well.
The maths sum is entered correctly but it is not recognised and the error message appears “sorry, please answer the question again.” Even if you repeat this process you cannot get through –
Do you know if this could be related to the browser settings?

After installing this plugin, users are completely prevented from registering. After filling out the required fields (name, email, password), and clicking submit, nothing happen. The page appears to refresh, but the registration does not complete.
I have deactivated the plugin, and registration works again. Any ideas as to why this is?
Will need to find another plugin if no solution is available.

Used this program for the last year and so far had only a few issues. But the 1.2 version threw our users into a loop.
The problem is that you can enter a race condition with the registration form – let me explain.
User a goes to the form to fill it out. It generates the value and uses the set_transient function to save the values.
User b (bot, search engine, or real user) goes to the page. It regenerates the values and saves them to the options.
User a hits save and it compares to user b options. It now resets it for both User a and b.
So I had some user complaints about trying to register 4-6 times and it not working. I couldn’t reproduce the problem in dev until I looked at the code.

There needs to be some way to make the information unique per user not one value for the whole site.
Right off top of my head if still want to use transients it might be better to place a hidden input field with a GUID on the page and use something like set_transient with the guid as part of the key. The page would need to have nocache on the page so that it’s not have any chance of given to another user. But also to consider – since transients are not cleared even if they are expired unless you call them again this might gunk up the database. So still not ideal so that’s what I didn’t do.
On my version of the code since I have sessions being used on the site already I replaced the transient calls with session and that solves the problem on my end.
Since I know most people don’t use or want to use sessions I didn’t upload the changes.

I have discovered an issue when the expected result is higher than 20 in the newest version (e.g. 11 + 10 = 21 will not get accepted; it says that the result must be between 0 and 20).
Could you please look into this and update the plugin?
