BP Group Management plugin is not working with 3.9 pls give me solution.
As mention :
Compatible up to: WP 3.4
So what we can do if we want to use it in wp-3.9
Hi there,
I’m using the latest version of this plugin: 0.6
One majoy downfall of the plugin is the slug creation through the WordPress backend: group organizer.
If not given, it will not automatically create one. And if the group name is copied into the slug field it will use the group name as is. That means:
* slugs with spaces (instead of converting them into hyphens)
* slugs with capital letters (instead converting them all into lower case)
* slugs with umlauts (instead of converting them correctly [?->ae])
That all could be solved by just letting WordPress handle the slug creation. This should be possible, right?
Best of luck,
flashbytes
Is there a way to give Editors access to add/remove people from BP groups?

I have a WP/BP multisite multiblog installation, running WP 3.4.2 and BP 1.5.5, plugin version 0.5.4
It is important to note that I originally configured BP with multiblog off and then turned it on after setting up groups. This is a workaround to get WP Multisite and BP Groups to work. It forces BuddyPress Admin menu to show up in subsites, not the Netork Admin.
Now, when I activate the plugin at the Network level the menu does not show up at the domainname/wp-admin/admin.php level.
It also does not show up when When I activate the plugin at the site level.
When I activate at the Network level and browse by entering the following in the address bar
mydomain/wp-admin/network/admin.php?page=bp-group-management
I can access the Admin page.
However, this only give me access to the root sites groups, not subsites.
Is there any way to modify this plugin so that the menu will show up properly on subsites?

Hi,
When I click on the group management link in the tool bar item for Buddy Press (Buddypress–>Manage Groups–>Group Management) I would expect to go to:
/wp-admin/admin.php?page=bp-group-management
instead the link goes to /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=gpages and gives me an error
Is this normal or is this a bug?

Hi Boone,
In bp_group_management_add_member_list()
you output a

tag on line 427, followed by some nested div
tags (line 468-470), then another opening

tag to start the list of addable members, then output the two closing

tags on lines 492 and 494.
This causes invalid markup, and the layout of the add members list is broken as a result.
Kind regards
Chris

Also, clicking the column headings again doesn’t reverse the sort order (expected) although this is really a feature enhancement than a bug perhaps.

I am on the “Options” page for this plugin here:

There are 2 possible settings that can be made:
Number of members to display per page
Number of groups to display per page
Regardless of whether I enter a number or nothing, I get the following error message when I “Save Changes”.

The requested URL /wp-admin/network/options.php was not found on this server.
Is that a bug in the plugin, or something wrong with my setup/system? I am using WP 3.2.1 and BP 1.2.9.
Tks for your help~

I think a selection box with check boxes next to the pictures of members would be much better for adding members to groups.
