Is there a way to not have gifts show up in the sitewide activity? I tried using the activity block plugin, but it blocks it entirely from all news feeds. It would be great to get it to just show up in the members activity and not on the entire sitewide activity feed!

Its now 10 months later ad no update.
I have taken this plugin and fixed it and will be renaming it ..
BuddyPress Gifts for Members Lite
and
BuddyPress Gifts for Members Pro
The Lite version will fix what problems it had and get it working with the current version of WP and BP. I have also added a count to it so you can see what gifts are being sent the most. Fixed CSS issues as well.
The Pro version will have the above but also work with “BuddyPress Achievements Plugin”. As you users build up points, you can give your members something to spend them on. Each gift can be given a cost in points or be free to send, choice is yours. As they send gifts, the cost of the gift sent will be deducted from their Achievements points. Change your gifts all the time, add new ones. Give each gift a cost and watch your users save up to send them to other members.
More news will com eon the pro version but the LITE version will come out soon. I’ll update you on here so make a comment and click notify me of posts so I can tell you when it is available.

Thank you for good job you have done on this plugin – Bp Gifts Rebirth, i was used it and it work perfectly for Buddypress 1.6.1, but it don’t work on the Buddypress 1.6.2, which is latest version of buddypress.
when i install and activate it on my social network Facebarbing.com this is what i get when i click on the Gifts icon from other member’s profile —

I have loaded the plug in and all seems to be fine; However, when I go to send a user a gift we get an error
“Either admin hasn’t received any gift yet or they have restricted access”
We are dragging the image into the text box and clicking the send gift button. The feature had been enabled in the notifications field and still nothing. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

]]>There’s a small bug in the activity stream. The gift-image class is not used on the main Activity Stream page. No possibility to do a float: left or anything like that, then.
]]>I was using the Gifts plugin when I first developed my website and loved it, but of course had issues. thank you so much for creating this update/new version. I do have one issue though…I have not updated to buddypress 1.5 due to conflicts with my theme and some plugins I need. I tried this plugin anyway and although it has loaded and is there the gifts are blank. Any thoughts?
