However, my WP user handle is “Tony – Antipole & site admin”, indicating my dual function. In the notification emails, where the author is placed, this comes out as:
Tony – Antipole & site admin
Any chance of a fix?
thanks, Tony
]]>I just installed the Buddypress Forum Notifier plugin. I tried to test it by mentioning a user (with @) in a forum reply. The result was the following message. It also does not generate the notification.

I am a volunteer for our neighborhood association website and am still learning WP and not very comfortable with coding. I have installed BuddyPress, bbPress, s2Member on our WP site.
I have created a Private Test Forum with a group of members assigned to this private forum. Each member of this test group has been given the role of “Moderator” — in WP Admin-Users area, all users (including the the test group members) have the default role of “Subscriber” and the default Forums role of “Participant”.
I submitted a new topic and when I hit submit, I received this error message:
Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, string given in /home/woodland/public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/bp-forum-notifier/includes/notifier.php on line 406

Also, I have not gotten an email notifying me of a new Topic that has been posted in my assigned Private Forum.
Can you please help me?
Thank you,
Aimee
Hi,
The other BuddyPress Notifications disappears when users clic in the notifications toolbar” or when users visit the page (with the mesage or comment for example).
But notification from “BuddyPress Forum Notifier” don’t disappears when users clic in the notifications toolbar” or when users visit the forum page. Users must clic in READ (in the NOTIFICATION PAGE where is the table with all notifications – message/reply in group/reply in forum etc. ) in order to do disappear notifications in toolbar.
Can you solve this problem?
I hope your answer.
Thank’s for your support

Hello,
Nice plugin, really like it! I want to make some customization but I am not very comfortable for coding, so I would like to ask your help.
I have a site with BBpress and Buddypress. Every user in their profile has xprofile field called etc “Favorite color”. And there is a drop down list with color names: black, white, blue, green..
What I would like to achieve is that if the user has selected “Green” as a color in they profile he will get notification only from forum named ” Green”, user with selected “Black” in profile will get notifications only from forum “Black”, but not from the other forums. The idea is that if user has selected some value in his profile he will get notifications only from the selected forum.
I would like to get some help in this. Thank you!
]]>xposted from; https://buddypress.org/support/topic/upgrade-problems-to-bp1-7/
There appears to be glitch with the bp-forum-notifier (1.3.1) plugin having an unprotected call to is_site_admin(). This seems to trash the installation if attempting to upgrade to buddypress 1.7 – restoring files does NOT recover from the problem.
]]>Hi, I installed this plugin and it added new fields in notification settings page, but in Sweden. Where can I switch language to english? How to translate it in italian?

Hello,
I have a question for you :
Why any visitor can open a topic and write a response, while only REGISTERED and CONNECTED users (with username + password) will have access to the box for reply notification by mail?
I would like the mail notification is ok for all users, registered and not registered users.
To date, no response obtained in any forum, and no plugin found …
Is it possible for you to write a plugin with this option in the panel settings, please ?
Excuse me for my english.
Best regards
Alain
