Hey Silversteelwolf,
This looks like a great plugin for GoodReads – but it’s a little old. Are you looking for a new maintainer?
I’m just writing my first plugins and am looking to develop some tools I want to use. If you’re looking for a new maintainer, I’m interested in looking over the code and bringing it forward.

I’m getting the error below on my Blog. Is there any one who can help?
]]>Everything seems to be working for me, the only issue I have is that the link doesn’t work. I’m trying to make it work, but I don’t have much knowledge of PHP. It seems the issue is that the string “.xml” is included in the link when it should not be.
For example, it returns this link:
https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/310564442.xml?utm_medium=api&utm_source=rss
That doesn’t work. But if you remove “.xml” the link does work.
https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/310564442?utm_medium=api&utm_source=rss
Any idea how to fix this?

This is the error I get, despite having the folder as world writable. None of my books show up…
]]>So I’ve installed it properly and put in the correct id, but it doesn’t show up in the widgets for me to add it to my site… help?
]]>Hi, I have 189 books on my ‘read’ shelf and via the Goodreads API only 100 are fetched (dispite the docs saying 200). So I downloaded your plugin and added some code to fetch multiple pages. It’s a quick-and-dirty-fix, but if you want the updated version, let me know. If you contact me via this: https://www.martijn-onderwater.nl/contact/, then I will send the source to you!
Regards,
Martijn
]]>Hello,
I’m wondering if this plugin is still being updated and if it’s compatible with 3.1.3?
Thanks!
]]>I’ve been having this problem for a while now. I had it working for a while then my books disappeared (it’s in a widget). Sometimes it outputs a permission error in the widget.
The only way to fix it is if I go to the options page and hit “Save Changes” – the books return but disappear after it self-updates.
Any help? I’d like to stick with this plugin but right now it’s broken as-is.
]]>Edit: installed plugin as directed, can’t get it to work either in a page template or as a widget (with php in widgets enabled). Does this go inside the Loop? Elsewhere? Developers need to provide more guidance for implementing this plugin.
The developers also need to take the time and fix the documentation so that it reflects THIS plugin, not the fmTuner plugin. (e.g. “books” not “tracks,” error in FAQ, etc.)
This plugin’s usefulness is currently very limited as you need to hard-code it into your template (HOW??). This plugin needs to be set up as a widget and/or use a shortcode so that you can add it easily into your site.
