I think the only thing still functioning with this organization is their ability to take your money. While the plugin works fairly well if you don’t want to accept payments on its own, its paid Authorize.net plugin is broken, as is its included PayPal functionality. The changelog for the plugin was last updated in 2018 and it relies on an obsolete version of omnipay.
Multiple support requests to try to get it working went unanswered.
Plugins die, I get that, but if the thing doesn’t work, don’t accept money for it. That’s why I consider Pinpoint, “The #1 WordPress Booking Plugin,” fradulent. If you find yourself in our position its worth it to call your bank and try to claw your money back.
It’s a shame too, because there’s a lot to be said for the UX of this plugin. The UI is out-dated and not super accessible, but you can tell that at some point a talented team cared about this plugin.

i tried to use this plugin in the paid version and had some (in my opinion: simple) questions after buying – got no solutions after almost a year of waiting.
after expiring of my license – and, of course, not extending cause the missing answers – additional i’ve lost the right to download my paid version again: the website do not offer the button anymore.
also i’ve got no answer to my emails to the team regarding this for weeks, so lost the paid plugin for ever…
the functions of the system are not bad, but having trouble with it, users are lost. poor!

I’d suggest to not get the permenant licence beacause the customer service will disappear. I’ve had multiple?requests done to fix this error 120. none could be done to fix this so I had to pay for a new plugin

If as soon as something does not work for us and despite giving them everything they ask for, data, photos, administrator access… They disappear and do not provide a solution… We have to pull our hair out, get frustrated and unfortunately have to look for another tool, which may be worse, but it will work thanks to its SUPPORT… and change. A plugin that DOES NOT work DOES NOT USE ANYTHING. Thank you USELESS PINPOINT support. We are glad that they treat us with this CONTEMPOR because it means that they do not need us. THANK YOU!
Si en cuanto no nos funciona algo y a pesar de darles todo lo que piden, datos, fotos, acceso de administrador… Desaparecen y no dan solución… Nos tenemos que tirar de los pelos, frustrarnos y lamentablemente tener que buscar otra herramienta, que quizás sea peor, pero funcionará gracias a su SOPORTE… y cambiar. You should use another plugin, believe me. They have many bugs and even if they say they respond in 24h for a ticket, this is not true – they simply don’t reply on support tickets.
Probably they are aware of bugs and they decide to avoid communication.

Good:
1. Set up is easy and efficient. It has some features that are much better set up that in other plugins. Better logic
2.The plug-in doesn’t create a bunch of default pages but provides short codes that can be integrated. This allows to minimize the checkout process to a minimum, while other plugin use too many steps. It also gives more control over design, layout of the pages. Other plugins don’t allow to customize the content and design/layout of the default pages.
3. One of the better UI designs. Not fantastic but better than the vast majority of booking plug-ins out there
Bad:
1. Very insufficient support documentation. To understand how to set up and implement all the features I had to use a video published by 3rd party. One I viewed the video set up was a breeze. but you’d expect the vender to provide better support.
2. Although the systems allows to integrate credit card payment through paypal and has the configuration for Paypal API settings, it never worked. Paypal account to account transfer worked, but credit card not. What is good is point 2 (above) that you have control over the page where you integrate the plugin calendar so we were able to add the code for paypal smart buttons.
3. ical sync – this did no work and is the main reason we abandonned its use.
We were able to import calendar from airbnb, but not export. The ical sync link provided bu the system did not work. When used in OTAs it gave an error.
Additionally, you can only set up sync with one OTA. What is the point of even developing that feature for only one OTA??? Makes no sense
We asked for refund (still waiting) and received no reply or feedback from vendor.
This plugin has some features that are way better than the other 3 I have used.
Unfortunately, the hotel business is such that way more bookings are made through OTAs than direct. As such, a plugin should have that as a priority, otherwise it just misses the point (our and your business goals. As such, doesn’t matter how well 90% of it has been made. It’s useless. Sorry
Get better ical functionality and resolve the paypal issues and I’ll change back in a heartbeat

On a glance, this plugin may look too difficult to use. That’s because they offer so many kind of options to suit the various needs of booking out there, even to the smallest adjustment. Calendar works perfect. WooCommerce integration works perfect, and the documentation is very detailed!
A quick question, is there any way to change the “Check in” text on the date picker sidebar? This is very minor so I understand if you don’t have the option for this. Might be possible to use a little jQuery if you can point me in the right direction.

I’ve really searched a lot, I’ve installed so many other plugins, tested so many demos, but none of them was so intelligently constructed, so flexible and so easy to intuitively work with (without reading the documentation) like this. I have installed most of the offerings for booking apps for WP and I find this plugin the best. Feature rich and easy to understand and use. The program is intuitive and does everything I have tried to find in one package. One bug with reservations start hour / end hour. Do not touch! Necessitates resetting calendar to restore order.

What a diverse plugin, I use the free version myself, because I only rent one property.
The German translation as well as the German documentation are very good.
I found the response time and the helpfulness of the support even better.

Doesn’t work, right out of the box. Get an error that says no services selected. Nothing in doc or setting for ‘services’ so this plugin is essentially garbage. Tech support claims will get back withing a day or two??? try putting FAQ up so people don’t have to wait for you. Better yet, test your product to make sure it works when installed.

At $95 dollars a year, this has to be one of the worst plugins available for WordPress. There are so many issues with the booking system they are impossible to list all here but include lack of device responsiveness, unable to test system before going live, no booking confirmations when entering bookings in the back end, no simple way to style the front end and license renewal does not retain existing data. But most of all the support is truly awful: they quote up to 48 hours but often takes twice that and is usually apathetic and unhelpful. There is a reason why this plugin is not available via either www.remarpro.com or Envato and that is because both those platforms would probably throw it off. Ask yourself one question before purchasing this plugin: why does their website not have a working demo of the booking system? I’ve asked why and, funnily enough, they haven’t got back to me yet. If you want a booking system that works with excellent support, use Maestrel’s HBook plugin.

I have had this PRO plugin since 2014. In 2018 I paid $195 U.S. to upgrade support for LIFE. I am using it on a Golf website for Booking Tee Times.
There is a problem, which is happening at the height of golf season, which renders the plugin useless, so people are having to phone in their tee times.
I submitted a ticket 6 days ago with the subject of URGENT! I have followed up with a second email, a ticket on their support form, and on the WordPress forum. I have not heard from them, other than the automated emails that says they received my messages.
This is totally unacceptable for support that I’ve paid so much money for.

Nice plug-in but a big pitty your language setup difference from the by WordPress recomended workflows.
If you manage more then one client/site with the same non standard language then you have to do a lot of quite technical tricks to get your translation copied to the other website.
Please move over to the usage of .po and .mo translation files instead if pointing us to dig in the sql databases witch is not without risk to break your complete site.
