After installing and configuring this plugin, I’m getting 404 errors for JS files that don’t seem to exist within the plugin. There’s reference to a “js” directory that just doesn’t exist when I download the plugin. Can you please patch this?
]]>Hello, I’m not able to see rooms available for booking, only containers.
I’ve created several rooms, and also tested merging a couple of them as containers, however, when i visit my site, I’m able to go through the booking ok, but the only rooms available are containers and no single rooms.
I’ve tried removing all rooms, branches, and containers and starting again, but no luck with getting rooms to show.
Any help would be great.
]]>When clicking on a class from the calendar and attempting to register, the following error displays in the middle of the page between the calendar links and the registration section.
Error!
Either there was a problem processing your form, or you are trying to refresh an already completed form. Please fill out the form again.
Also, when clicking on event details from the upcoming events page using short code [showEvents start_offset=”0″ end_offset=”30″ num_offset=”15″]
the link goes to a blank page with the following in the address bar…
notice: Undefined index: basepage in /usr/share/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/book-a-room-event-calendar/templates/events_list.php on line 100?action=viewEvent&eventID=200
]]>Hello!
After I activate this plugin (along with Book a Room – but that one by itself does not cause this error), I try to logout of WordPress blog and log back in, and I get this message:
Warning: session_destroy(): Trying to destroy uninitialized session in /home1/csvtech/public_html/wp-content/plugins/book-a-room/sharedFunctions.php on line 119
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home1/csvtech/public_html/wp-content/plugins/book-a-room/sharedFunctions.php:119) in /home1/csvtech/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1219
Thankfully I have been able to go back through history and deactivate the plugin, and restore logout and login function. However, I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong so that this plugin won’t work. It would be very helpful to compliment the other Book a Room plugin.
We are using it to assign/reserve rooms at a church.
]]>Our website is currently set so that the day’s events show on the front page. We had thought they would cycle so if, for example, the day began with an event at 10:00am, that event wouldn’t still be showing at 2:00pm onward. We thought they’d filter out and new events would show up, even if that meant pulling from the next day. Is there any way to get them to cycle that way? As is, it’s not very helpful to show an event from hours prior.
]]>Any plans of giving more form options , so things can be omitted, excluded, deleted or add, etc ?
What app do use for development ? It was easier for a lay person to manipulate the HTML in older versions. Now that most things are PHP— Takes a little bit more time for a lay person to modify things – Like changing Branches to Buildings
1. Will FOrm be more customizable ?
2. What Apps you use for Developing the PHP ? Former user Frontpage/Expressions/Dreamweaver
Thanks for your help
3.
What exactly does the NO Location Option do ?
]]>I am testing this out and added a couple reservations on the front-end and then approved them in the backend, but they are not appearing on the calendar page. Am I missing a setting somewhere?
]]>Is there a way to show one month at a time with all events and not DAY BY DAY Narrow
https://biogsu1.org/wp/reg/
Both [showReg] and [showCalendar] show the same thing, while [showEvents start_offset=”0″ end_offset=”7″] shows nothing.
How can one show only one month at a time on the calendar ?
]]>Hello:
Thanks again for all your effort with this plugin; Very handy since most “booker” apps don’t really serve the needs of libraries very well. This one is really- really helpful.
– but I ran across a small glitch today;
– – thought you might want to check it.
I set up a page using the following short code:
[showEvents start_offset=”0?” end_offset=”30″ num_offset=”45″]
This page provides our facilities staff with a nice quick view of events for the month. However the link on “EVENT TITLE” and “View the event’s details” contain an error when clicked to show more info about the event.
Using the short code above, the event detail link is:
https://wiki.novilibrary.org/home/?page_id=193?action=viewEvent&eventID=8
When using [showReg] or [showEvents] the link for “View the event’s details” is:
https://wiki.novilibrary.org/home/?page_id=193&action=viewEvent&eventID=8
The top link with the “?action” send users to the Calendar page; Not ideal.
The bottom link with “&action” correctly shows all the details for the event.
Again, thanks for sharing this plugin.
Hope this is helpful.

]]>Hello,
I configured book-a-room and this calendar per the instructions. I’ve been able to make reservations and confirm them. I can also make events. None of these appear on the calendar.
I do have a question on the calendar page: should I use the [showReg] short code or the [showCalendar] short code? I have tried both and the both generate a blank calendar (https://stangelabreachurch.org/sa/news/calendar/). Any idea what I am doing wrong? I do have that page’s URL in the settings.
Thanks in advance.
]]>Hi. I am looking at your plugin for my not for profit. I like what I see and I think it may help us. The installation for the Book a Room plugin seemed to have no issues. However, the activation of the Book a Room Event Calendar resulted in an error:

]]>Hi! Love this plugin in addition to the general use one that you’ve already developed! Couple quick questions:
1. Is there a way we could do a “month” view as well (as opposed to just a listing of events per day). This might help a library that doesn’t have quite as many events each day to not appear “empty”…or help someone who just wants to see the schedule at a glance in stead of scrolling.
2. Might be nice to have “advanced search” filters on the calendar page itself so people could easily just see children’s event or “book clubs” instead of having to go to the advanced search. Just a thought!
3. Finally, is there a way to have these events or this calendar feed into a Google calendar? Meaning, have events that are scheduled using this tool automatically post to a Google calendar or some other tool that relies on a “feed?” That way, people could actually use any calendar plugin of their choice, and just have this one feed events to it. I guess it would be hard to handle the reservation part of things however. Just wondering!
Thanks!
]]>Hello,
I have a few problems with the registration form (which is not appearing), and the calendar appearing in a funny layout and with no booked events.
1. Registration
In the backend, I set the “URL for reservations page” to https://www.domain.com/registration , but nothing appears on the page.
2. Calendar
In the backend, I set the “URL for event calendar” to https://www.domain.com/calendar, but nothing appears on the page.
3. Shortcode
Both [showReg] and [showCalendar] show the same thing, while [showEvents start_offset=”0″ end_offset=”7″] shows nothing.
When using [showReg] or [showCalendar], the days of the month appear on the same page at the same time, one stacking above the other. Also, events that have been registered successfully through the backend are not showing.

The plugin looks like it will meet our needs splendidly…if we could only get it to work.
By the way, the Book A Room Help is quite incomplete. Specifically, all instructions following this are identical jibberish:
