Is there a way to show the tooltip when hovering over an image instead of just text?

I am contacting you because I am experiencing the following error on a client’s website, which I did not personally develop, and I am unable to determine whether it is caused by your plugin.
Occasionally, when I try to modify content generated with the Divi theme, instead of loading the content, a text module appears containing the content of an element generated by your plugin (always the same content).
The only way to resolve this issue is to disable the permalinks, open the site’s frontend, and restore the permalinks.
I have already tried clearing the cache and Divi optimizations, and I have disabled your custom post my_keywords from Divi, but the error persists.
I’m unsure if this is due to your plugin or if there’s some incompatibility between the active plugins

Is it possible to Exclude matching on pages by Family? Or maybe there is another way to solve my problem.
I have a site that could be divided in to 5 types of content pages. Let’s say 5 different sports. I have a Keyword named “Foul” and I would like the Tooltip for “Foul” to appear differently on various pages of my content — as a foul is different for each sport.
I hoped that Families would work this way but I do not see a way to define a Content Page as belonging to a certain family.
Is this structure possible?

Great plugin! I am having some challenge with integration with NinjaTables. I have attached a Test page which will exhibit the intermittent issue. If I load the page 10 times.. maybe 1 or 2 of those times, the ToolTip will work inside the table and the other 8 times the Tooltip will not work inside the table. Of course my goal is for it to work 100% of the time.
The Tooltip outside the table is included to confirm that ToolTip is working 100% of the time (outside of the table). I understand that this points to a potential issue with integration between the two plugins and I have tried a number of things with no real solution. Can you assist?
I have adjusted the z-index of the NinjaTable on this page.. but this does not seem to be the issue. If I make the Table -1, the controls on the table nor the hover-highlight on that table.. basically breaks the table. If I walk the Z up 1, 2,3,4, 99, 999.. in all those cases the Table works.. but none of them make the ToolTip work 100%.
I also tried Disabling the “Hover-highlight” on the NinjaTable thinking maybe the Tooltip hover issue could be related to the Hover-highlight on the Table. .but that did not have any effect on the ToolTip function rate.
Is there any config changes I can try on the ToolTipy side? Any ideas that you have?

Thank you for your very nice plugin, which i really like!
I have tried it today and everything is perfect, except that i can’t generate the glossary index on my wordpress 6.6.1.
When i create an article or a page and try to include the tag [tooltip_glossary], save button is telling that there is an error, the page can’t be saved. I have tried several times on an article or on a page and the problem is always present.
The web server show the problem on that command with http code “500”:

Is there a way, to prevent tooltips parsing in specific blocks maybe via remove a specific hook?
In our Block Theme we want to show the Tooltips in the post content. But they can have blocks where the tooltips aren’t neccesary. Thanks in advantance.

I have noticed that there is an additional space being left after words in a sentence that have a tool tip attached. The words are appearing as ‘spring , summer , autumn , and winter’.
Is it possible to delete this space.

When I try to add html/css codes in the Tooltippy keyword content Text tab, it will randonly add empty paragraph and br div like some kind of auto spacing.
This is the test html code that I put in. There is no reason for it to add extra br div in.

</html>When I input a headless html, it does not show this problem. So it might have something to do with the head div. However, it’s just too difficult to style without the head div.

We’re using the Tooltipy plugin version 5.4 (also we bought a PRO version years ago). We detected that the plugin duplicates the tooltip texts within the Accordion element which is available in the Enfold Theme.
Please have a look at the included site, the tooltip “Word sketch” which is included in the Accordion titles is duplicated and it seems the rest of the title after this tooltip is repeated as well.
]]>There is a conflict between your plugin and the WP Mobile Bottom Menu by BOOM DEVS. When both are installed and activated, buttons on the mobile menu must be clicked twice before working.
I have both installed right now but I’ve had to deactivate yours until I can get the situation fixed.

Regarding the following, I think it is a bug or I don’t see the solution yet. I have a blog with 1700 posts and I am creating a list of keywords. The keywords are not displayed properly when I use the search function.
For example: Go to ‘zoek en vind ..’ in the navigation bar/menu. Search the word ‘betekenis’. In the first post, click on the title ‘betekenis betrekkelijk’. Now you see the entire post. In this post, the space before the first ‘betekenis’ has disappeared. The word ‘betekenis’ is also not underlined even though it is a keyword and not excluded. I only have this problem when I use the search function.
Perhaps I need to enter an extra code in the advanced tab?

For example DAG be the keyword and it appears as “the DAG’s members…” somewhere in the text the tooltip doesn’t appear even when I add “DAG’s” to synonyms.

I think Tooltipy is a great and useful plugin. Thank you for developing and supporting it!
I have two suggestions. The first concerns custom tooltips for pages, or rather, using Tooltipy as a footnote replacement. That would be easy to do for users if there was some shortcode that users could use to create a tooltip for a specific word (or sentence) in a post or a page.
The second suggestion I have is to make an option to have the tooltip appear only when clicking the word, and then have the tooltip disappear when clicking outside the tooltip or crossing it out, as you can see in this example.

Hi guys!! I here to ask for your help…I need to change the position where appears the text of the tooltip on mobiles.
If you visit my page when you go over the question mark it appears the tooltipo at the bottom of the mobile, but in this section I have a some buttons for chats and others and it affects how it shows, also the font is very small, if I see the tooltip on the computer works fine, the tooltip appears next to the word but in the mobile appears at the bottom, is there any way that I can personalize this option?…

We love this plugin, and it works great for us on unformatted text, but when the keywords are bold/strong or italic/em they don’t end up being linked/underlined and instead the plugin ends up just removing the spaces before and after those words, so in those cases the plugin is sadly just making the text ugly, amateurish and hard to read.
We’ve filed a report with the developer, but meanwhile, if anyone else knows of a possible workaround/fix for this problem, please let us know (as we’re getting ever closer to our release date). Thanks!

I’ve set up the keywords “Magna Carta” and “Runnymede” and also selected “Get tooltips from post” and I’ve added the class name “post” and html tag of article but it’s just not displaying them on the page linked.

When I create a new phrase with a word that’s already defined, it only shows the tooltip for single word.
For example, let’s say I have a tooltip for “club”. When I create a new tooltip for “football club”, it still shows the tooltip for “club” and ignores football club. How can I change this behaviour to show the tooltip for “football club” instead of “club”?
