This was easy and saved us a lot of time. We don’t see the images in the Media Library but understand they are in a separate folder on the server now, which is fine.

I used it on Synology NAS sever to get my blogger.com images to my local nas server.
Seems to be the ONLY way today (Feb’2014) to export images from Google blogger.com sites…
A good reason to move the whole blog to wordpress!

Watch that for me the following entry in “Image host domains” was needed:
blogspot.com,blogger.com,ggpht.com*

I downloaded and crossed my fingers and all 3000 photos imported into a Blogger folder. Score! Now to just get them to move to media….

Within 5 minutes (maybe less) I had over 1000 photos correctly attached to the posts and hosted on the correct server. Thank you so much!

Used on two wp sites. No problems.

Copies the blogger files into a subfolder in the media folder and retains the ugly blogger folder structure. But it does the job and cleaning up the blogger folder ugliness would be a lot to ask.

The images are imported into a blogger folder rather than the WP convention of <year>/<month> folder structure. Furthermore, the images did not show up in the Media section of the dashboard…

I was a little leary with trying this plugin out because of the warnings. So I created a test site first and used it and had no problems so then I backed up the real site I was working on and successfully imported the images. Wala!

Could it be improved? Maybe a message on installing the plugin that tells the new user that the usable settings appear under tools
