I used this plugin on a recent Blogger migration. About 70% of the images said they worked however when I examined the images, they were all 0KB. I discovered my solution by playing around with the code. You need to set an option with CURL to allow it to follow urls redirections. This is done by adding the following code to blogger-image-import.php on line 149. Hopefully this is useful for something else attempting to migrate from Blogger.

I’m using the plugin on a site I’m migrating form Blogger. Part of the images were imported properly, while others are ignored with the message:

The IMG tag contain images and they are accessible. I suspect that the RegEx is having trouble with some of them. Here are some examples:

I have hundreds of images that I would be importing and to go in and edit all of the alt text manually would be a lot of work.

]]>After importing over my Blogger posts, I was excited to find your plug-in to help copy over all my post images and redirect them. I’m using the Gridlocked theme, and the images are not conforming properly. After running your plug-in with verbose, I see that it has copied all the images to my wp-content/uploads/blogger folder, but when I return to edit the individual posts, the links to the images are still pointing to blogspot.com
Is there an extra step i’m missing somewhere? Or, do I need to go in and manually change the links by hand?
