I had a problem with the Xing connection. Support responded very quickly and repeatedly. Xing had changed a few things in the interface, and Blog2Social made the necessary adjustments. Today the XING connection works. Thanks to Benedikt.

I paid for premium to get auto-posting so I can save time on posting to each social media platform individually, but the app still doesn’t work as expected and I still spend more time than needed finagling with the plugin to get it to work how I want. Even though the app says you can autopost from other plugins, it doesn’t (I use Postie and Jetpack mobile app) unless you login to the WordPress site itself and hit “Save” on the post. What’s the point? It doesn’t autopost to Facebook Profiles, all it does is open a new window to facebook.com for you to copy and paste the text of your post yourself. Sometimes I get an error when autoposting to Instagram and the post doesn’t get posted. You can create templates to organize how you want the post to display on the other platforms, but it doesn’t carry over for example on Facebook, Tumblr and Medium.
There’s just all kinds of bugs with this plugin, so your mileage may vary. I’m giving it 2 stars because it does autopost more consistently if you’re posting directly from your WordPress desktop site, but it fails hard when trying to use mobile with Postie or Jetpack and it’s 100% fail with Facebook Profiles. Also it fails at being able to post to specific networks per post, unless you pay more by upgrading to Pro (I currently have Premium Smart because this is just a personal site and a Pro account will be overkill) to get Network Collections. Foh. Not worth it.

Instagram keeps responding that image is not available
Pinterest wants a video recording of the screen explaining what we are gonna do with pinterest users data for which I don’t care at all . Instructions are not clear.
I suppose we all need just to share posts …but we need more clearly explained simple steps to create that video which will respond to pinterest.
For fb,X, tumblr,linkedin …worked like a charm. Google business not included in smart version.

Immerhin habe 25025 Posts gemacht mit Blog2social. Es gab nie irgendwelche Beanstandungen! Ganz am Anfang hatte ich mal Probleme aber da wurde mir sehr fachkundig geholfen. Ich habe die Firma aufgegeben. Blog2social hat mich 8 Jahre begleitet – die Kommunikation mit dieser Firma verlief immer nicht nur reibungslos sondern ausgesprochen zuvorkommend.
Blog2social ist eine absolut gute Wahl!

I worked with several Tools and Plugins before, but never had one which is able to post to every kind of Social Media channel througout my Website/Blog on WordPress. It is really nice and saves time!!
I have some recommendations what can be developed/done to even make the handling easier and better, i have sent an eMail to the developers… Thanks so much for this tool!!

Dieses Plugin ist ein sehr m?chtiges Werkzeug wenn es darum geht Blogbeitr?ge in die Sozialen Netzwerke zu teilen. Es gibt von mir 4 Sterne, da die Beitragsvorlagen, also das, was in den Kan?len ankommt, erst rudiment?r sind. Andere Plugins habe sich da mehr Mühe gegeben. Doch man kann mit dem Support reden und diese M?ngel ansprechen. Sie haben versprochen die Beitragsvorlagen zu überarbeiten. Stand Sept. 2024.

Vielen Dank nochmals für die schnelle Antwort und die prompte L?sung. Ich hatte ein unscheinbares Plugin installiert, was die Funktionen von Blog2Social neg. beeinflusst hatte. Nachdem ich es entfernt hatte – funktioniert alles wieder bestens.
Bemerkenswert ist die Geschwindigkeit des Supports und die pr?zise und hervorragend erkl?rende Antwort.
Das sollten sich andere Software-Ersteller zum Vorbild nehmen.
Macht weiter so.
