“Hide for post type Pages” – selection of certain pages – works in regular block editor, but is not available in site editor, where it is needed most.
]]>Hey!
Me again.
I wasn’t able to find a way to display a block on all pages of an archive but not the first. Hiding on the “numbered pages” works well, but the inverse would be interesting to.
I guess more complicated would be a setting to show a block on every n-th page inside an archive. Could lead to very creative usages.
Looking forward to learning how to do it or if it could be come a feature.

Hey!
As I’m working on client websites I again and again have the need to create a cover/hero section on the first page of the blog.
Therefore I guess hide/show a block on paginated pages would be a nice feature.

Hi. There are conflicts with some widget-blocks like calendar or tag-cloud. Here is an image showing you the error and console. https://ibb.co/GVwyM3n
enviroment: localwp newest release and wp6.2
I use the plugin Simple TOC for a Table of Content, and when Block Control is activated that plugin throws an error in the block editor.
I have described details in the Simple TOC support forum.
Ideally I would like to use both plugins, so perhaps it’s possible to find a solution.
Thanx for you time and the plugin. I find it much simpler to use than its famous cousin from Nick Diego ??
]]>Can this plugin work with page cache plugins?
A quick look at the sourcecode shows a serverside third party php “Mobile Detect Library” which is used to decide about visibility of blocks. This might lead to a race condition scenario with serverside page caches. Maybe you could add a FAQ about this, thanks.
