Hi,
I’m trying to install your nice plugin on my website but I’m currently experiencing some css display errors.
Here is a link of one post:
https://www.artweb.agency/mycm/le-community-management-de-barbie-ou-la-revanche-dune-blonde/
Is there a way to fix it ?
Hope to get an answer soon.
Kind regards,
Yves.
Hello!
I wanted to clarify how you can add vk.com? And at my website link?
Thank you!
Hello!
We’ve now been using your author box successfully for month on our normal pages, but with the arrival of AMP it seems like things aren’t working correctly on our /amp/ pages.
Here’s what shows up at the top of our amp pages:

So it looks like for some reason, the plugin is loading the custom CSS you had given me months ago.
Thanks for your help!

For some reason, the “Bio” tab and the actual author box is separated. Here’s what it looks like: https://ohsnapletseat.com/2016/01/28/easy-paleo-pumpkin-pie-2/
How do I go about fixing this?
Hi there,
How can I exclude custom posts / pages. HOw about individual pages?
Regards,
Jeff
You allow the author bio to be listed on Pages, and yet the bio box doesn’t list the author’s pages: https://screencast.com/t/CrKNcvTNO7v.
If you add pages as an option, the author’s pages should also be listed as what they have written in the bio box.
Super clean and really nicely done. Would really love this to be added. I’m using the rtpanel theme.
what foundation themes do you use?
With this plugin activated, I get a 503 on posts (authorbox only enabled on posts). I disabled it, and they load fine again.
Hi great plugin thanks for making it. We get auted for accessibility and i noticed the plugin has images for social media icons and spacer images and all of the mdont have an alt tag to describe them. This throws up issues for screed reader users, coudl we added alt text to the images or nul alt text telling them to ignore it.
If you dont know how to test use wave accessiblity checker google it.
example of it in use is here
thanks,
Hi,
Is it possible to exclude certain posts? I have this website on which I want to display the author box on blog pages, but not on my event and gallery pages. I can’t seem to change this in the setting.
Cheers,
Leonard
Hello again Frederic!
Recently we discovered that our site had no bulletpoints whatsoever, so we went into stylesheet.css and changed “list-style-type: none” to “list-style-type: disc” under “.entry-content ul > li”.
It seems to have fixed bulletpoints on our blogs, but now bullets have appeared next to the tabs on the author box!
Our latest blog, for example: https://www.irsmedic.com/2015/06/15/offer-in-compromise-was-rejected/
If you scroll underneath the blog, you can see 3 bullet points to the left of Social, Bio, & Latest Post tabs
Hey Frederic,
We decided to try out your plugin and I saw that “tjc-albo” had a similar issue – the author box on our page has its “tabs” broken from the main “box”.
Here’s an example:
https://www.irsmedic.com/2015/05/28/fbar-penalty-statute-of-limitations-on-collections/
I tried doing the fix suggested in “tjc-albo”‘s post, but he had a different issue so the fix didn’t work for us.

EDIT:
In addition, the Twitter linking seems to be broken. I have tried using @IRSMedic, IRSMedic, https://twitter.com/IRSMedic in the “Twitter @username” box, but nothing seems to work correctly.
Thanks for your time!
Hi Frederic, great plug-in and I love the functionality. However, I do have a little issue and its that the plugin doesnt seem to be displaying completely correctly.
If you have a look at any of the posts on my site, like this one: https://www.thejetcoaster.com/japan-off-the-beaten-track-12-hidden-destinations
You’ll see that the birds author box looks a little bit broken. Could you help me figure out whats the problem and if there is a solution please?
For your reference, my theme is Enfold and I’ve always been running the most up-to-date version. However since I installed it a couple updates ago, I’ve always had the same issue with the way the author box looks.
Hoping you can lend me a hand. Cheers!
Please see online.seastrata.com and click on one of the articles.
You can see the Author box appears below the article but then it appears again in the footer at the bottom of the page.
Please advise how can I remove it from the footer?
Thanks
Dennis.
Thanks for the great plugin again.
I have one suggestion that would make my life a bit easier when it comes to this plugin. We have a decently large media library and right now to choose an author profile picture for the box, you can to kind of scroll through small thumbnails in a kind of linear fashion. This is not terribly bad if you operate a single author blog, or have a small media library, but it’s quite a headache when you have thousands of files with odd names and can’t remember which month they come from.
Would it be possible to have the choice of pictures display more like they are in the media library? This is exactly what I mean (right side):
This would make working with the plugin a lot easier from the user end.
Thanks so much!
(This is my second issue–see other thread for first).
Thanks again for the awesome plugin. My other issue is that the author box appears quite wonky on mobile. This happened with over half of the author box plugins I’ve tried, but I’m hoping it can be resolved with this plugin because this was my favorite author box.
What happens is that the text all gets pushed to the right because of the display picture and gets kind of bunched up. The best solution, of course, would be to align the picture center so the text can appear as left or justify alignment below it. This is the most efficient use of the space, and should be applied probably to every tab (bio, social, latest posts).

I would be sooooooooo grateful if this could be changed. Right now it’s not a huge issue because we’re a relatively small site, but we’re planning to add tons of new contributors, and I know they’ll eventually want seamless mobile integration.
Otherwise, I actually like how the actual TABS appear on mobile. Nice and organized.
Thanks!
Thanks so much for creating this great, straightforward plugin. I went through about 10 different author box plugins before settling on this.
I have two issues I’m hoping could be resolved (I will open two separate tickets). After using so many author box plugins, I noticed that some place the author box BELOW an optin form while others place it ABOVE. I haven’t been able to customize this and it just kind of happens to be one or the other.
I would much rather have the author box appear BELOW the optin form I have on my site. Is there a way to write a few lines of code to do this, or have it as an option?

Thanks!
Hello Birds Author Box team,
Just installled your plugin and check that all requirments are set.
I’m getting this error: “Uncaught ReferenceError: tb_show is not defined” while trying to upload avatar from the user profile.
Do you famiiar with the issue?
Update:
I will add another request/question. Is there anyway to ask the plugin to the “autor” image(avatar) from the user’s BuddyPress profile?
$content.= ‘<img class=”birds_box_avatar” src=”‘ . get_the_author_meta(‘image’, get_query_var(‘author’)) . ====>> bp_core_fetch_avatar
Make any sense?
Thanks in advance
when I activated Birds, website gives;
Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_setting() in /home/cozplaying/public_html/wp-content/plugins/birds-author-box/public/frontend.php on line 53.
Can you help abput this?
