Delivers in what the name promises. You can even filter your post types for latest posted ‘event’ or whatever else makes you happy.

I use this on every site I design.

Edit: It has been throwing an error on new WordPress installations for some months, so I guess I am moving on to a different plugin.

no settings for sticky posts, I have to guess my own cat id’s… this is unfinished business.

I installed the Recent Posts Widget on my Persian language website: https://www.irnetcom.com on 7/4/2015. Its about Persain language translation services. The widget works nice. But it lacks settings for other features like ‘Author Name’, etc. Still, I am happy with it and continue using. Thanks to the developer.
