After learning I could search my Media Library by keyword if I filled in the Alt Text field on each photo, I was disappointed to see that the default Media Library view did not include the ability to see my Alternative Text field. This plugin allowed me to do that which has made me SO happy! Now I can quickly and easily see if I’ve forgotten to add an Alt Text field to any photos, or quickly decide whether to add any additional keywords. Thank you!

Don’t think its quite worth downloading the plugin but I copied the code into my themes function.php and it works awesome!

needs a field for title.
WP uses title for the title of the attachment page. It’s automatically set to be the filename minus “.jpg”. This makes for ugly attachment pages.

This plugin works pretty well.
If you want to display more information about media in the listing this plugin is the choice.
After install you can easily alter the columns displayd over the wordpress options.

Another Media Library plugin broke my site, and all I wanted was to see the caption, description, and alt text fields so I could make sure I’d populated them. This did the trick! It would be even more perfect than it already is if I could edit the fields in list view, but I was happy to find a plugin that would let me see what I wanted to see without breaking my site and giving me the white screen of death. Better Media Library Fields did the trick.
