Hi Support, Thank you for making wonderful plugin. I recenlty had a issue with the plugin. It has stopped showing up tweets on all of the posts. All of plugin and themes on my website are on latest version. I have deactivated cache plugins nad tested it but still nothing. Can you please have a look at it.
Thank you in advance.
I don’t know much about CSS other than what it’s used for, but I paid for premium styles and can’t use the one I really want. I like the ones that are aligned left or right with the blue click to tweet button, but can’t use them. Each time I’ve tried, the button shows up white so the white text is unreadable. I turned off the page optimization features of minifying and combining css, html, js… thinking maybe that was the issue, but it’s still doing it. The only styles that work have colored backgrounds or the gray buttons. What would cause a css issue only affecting the blue buttons?
Thank you!
Hi there!
I am thinking about uninstalling Better Click to Tweet as I have stopped using X (Twitter).
What will happen with the tweet messages included in my blog articles?
Is there a way to bulk delete all quotes configured as Click to Tweet?
Thank you
I cannot get the plugin to work with my website. My site theme uses BoldGrid to build the pages. When I click the button it just shows up as text. Like this:
[bctt tweet=”Lent is not a Roman Catholic invention. Lent is an ancient Christian practice whose roots trace back as far as we have historical evidence to trace them. Thus, rejecting Lent due to its associations with Roman Catholicism is faulty reasoning.” username=”NewLife_eNews”]
I had an issue where JetPack was kicking out an issue “The editor has encountered an unexpected error attempt recovery/copy paste text/copy error” It turns out deactivating Better Click to Tweet resolved issue. I have advised JetPack of issue as well.
Hi team, I made a test page to show you that I include customized text in your shortcode, however it takes the page or post title instead every time I try.
Many thanks for letting me know.
Currently the plugin does not allow as many characters as Twitter, consequently the text of some of the tweets created on my sites with this plugin, have been cut. Thank you for resolving the issue.
Thanks for this plugin.
Hi all, I can no longer use the bcct tweet plugin for some reason. There’s no birdie to click, and I messed up the code trying to figure out how to do it manually. Is it still in general use? Thanks as always, Sally
BEN
The size of the fonts in my Better Click to Tweet messages on the published page no longer respond to any size change I make.
The attached link has three BCtT messages in the following sizes: 12pt, 14pt, and 18pt. Yet all three are the same tiny size on the published page.
What is wrong and how do I fix it?
Thanks in advance!

Hi there!
I’ve noticed that recently when someone shares a post through Click to Tweet, the plain URL of the post shows like this although my permalinks are set to “post name”.
Communicating assertively is key to a healthy relationship with ourselves & others. Reasons for not being #assertive & practicing #assertiveness. #AssertiveCommunication https://www.thecornerofexcellence.com/?p=17474 a través de @XcellenceCorner
Activating the short URL option in Click to Tweet also does not work anymore. I think it used to catch that from Jetpack which I do not have activated anymore.
How can I fix it so that the entire URL with the post name shows?
Thank you
I am using BCTT, but when I create a BCTT link, the paragraph directly below it has its font & font size changed, every time I create a tweetable link. Please advise! I greatly appreciate your help.
I’m consistently redirected AWAY from my site when activing your plugin.
Do I need to say more than this?
Just don’t, it’s crazy and will make every user resent, and doubtless breaks lozza wordpress moderation rules.

Hello,
I have attempted to update the plugin twice and experienced a fatal error. Good thing I backed up my system. Can you tell me if this is a plugin incompatibility issue or something else?
The message reads: There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

Hi team, we’re paying for click to tweet and we need to cancel our account but can’t find a way to do it. Could someone direct me to the right page/contact info to do so?
Thanks.
I have purchased the premium styles plugin, but sorry to say I don’t like them. Most of them look like they belong in the 90’s and were made a programmer with no design skills, sorry.
Since I can definitely do better myself with CSS, I wanted to request a refund, but there are no contact/support details anywhere on the website.
Hello,
I would like to know whether it’s possible to add multiple username tags to a tweet.
On our blog, we have co-authored articles and in the quick tweets I’d like to include both contributors. Here’s the snippet I’ve been trying to alter:
[bctt tweet=”The video streaming market size is expected to expand to $184.27 billion by 2027.” username=”10to8ltd” username=”usreentv”]
I also tried
[bctt tweet=”The video streaming market size is expected to expand to $184.27 billion by 2027.” username=”10to8ltd” “usreentv”]
I tried separating the usernames with , and ; but that didn’t work either.
What would be the correct method of listing multiple Twitter handles?
Cheers
The ability to add something like hashtags=”#hastag1 #hashtag2 #hashtag3″ into the shortcode so that hashtags would be added into the tweet without displaying on the page along with the quoted text would be great.
Sometimes it would be beneficial to add a few hashtags but not to display them on your site, only within the tweet.
I know we can put them in the tweet text but then they show up on the site too which can look messy and ruin the flow of the quote in the click to tweet box.
I installed your, better click to tweet, plugin yesterday and the YOURLS URL shortener.
Upon adding a BCTT box within my post, it successfully generated a shorturl in the tweet box.
However, in YOURLS I had some settings wrong so it did not generate a good random shorturl, it just used the number 1.
So I went and changed the shorturl for that link to a custom one.
Now, how do I go back and update what is used within your BCTT box?
I tried removing it completely, saving the page, adding it back again and nothing changed. I have deleted the cache too.
I do not have jetpack installed in WP and am just using the basic default WP shortlink functionality modified by YOURLS as mentioned above.
I cannot find anywhere within WP to see any saved shortlinks, the link within the custom YOURLS site I created is updated and working just fine, but the old shorturl still displays within the tweet.
What can I do?
Where is your tweet box pulling the information from on what shorturl to send to twitter along with the tweet text? Since the YOURLS database has an updated version of the URL, so it can’t be getting it from there and isn’t updating it from there, so must be storing it somewhere else.
Good looking plugin. I suspect it would work perfectly if I were adding the link to a post.
I don’t suppose there is any way of generating a URL instead of a shortcode? I want users to click a button (inserted in a page using Beaver Builder) to create a tweet, but I can’t put a shortcode in the button module’s link field.
H.
Addendum: Never mind – I figured out how to write a twitter intent URL and solved my own problem.
To whom it may concern,
I hope this finds you well. We are looking to transition our posts to AMP but see that this plugin is not by default AMP-compatible on this ecosystem page: https://amp-wp.org/ecosystem/
The BCTT shortcode looks funny when viewed in AMP mode. I was wondering if you had any ideas on how to maybe get it to look nicer, or if it would be possible to have it made compatible in future releases.
Thank you very much for your time and help, I greatly appreciate it and wish you the best,
Dory

Hello,
Nice plugin! On your website you press ‘click to tweet’ and the twitter box pops open in the same screen. However on my blog when you press ‘click to tweet’ it takes the user to another tab. OK, the same information is being displayed on both blogs but it’s not as smooth on mine it creates ‘friction’. How do I get it to open in the same window?.
Thanks
Hi,
when editing the .po and .mo of german with poedit, i am able to change the german wording for “click to tweet” from “Klicken um zu tweeten” to my choice.
But when re-uploading the .mo and .po file to /plugins/bcct/languages this does no effect to the front end wording at all.
Any suggestion? Highly appreciated.
Thanks and best wishes,
P
We are trying out this plugin on a draft website and came across what I hope is a quick edit. The HTML generated for the Click to Tweet link has no space between the class names and the rel=””:
target='_blank' class='bctt-ctt-btn'rel="noopener noreferrer">Click To Tweet
It still works fine but is triggering this error regarding accessibility when using scanning tools:
No space between attributes.

Could a space be added in a future version?
Thank you!

Hello,
I’m struggling to make the plugin working, but the shortcode is shown as text instead of being rendered. Of course the plugin ha been activated and the Twitter handle has been set up.
The WordPress version is 5.2.4, the plugin version is 5.9.2. The website uses the classic editor. I’ve already tried to deactivate all the plugins except for BCTT but nothing changes.
Please help. Thanks in advance.
