Hi!
When I insert a beerxml-shortcode, I no longer cant publish the post.
Maybe this plugin needs a update? ??
Hello!,
Is there any way to add Spanish translation for XML?
]]>Hi
I’ve noticed that the shortcode options and the default options don’t affect how the beerxml is displayed.
]]>Hi!
Is there gonna be any updates to this plugin soon?
Would it be possible to display the Efficiency?
Looking in the BeerXML file from Beersmith it looks like <EFFICIENCY> is placed at the top so perhaps it makes sense to put it in Recipe Details?
]]>Hi,
This is a great plugin and it works on all of my pages and posts. But the main issue I have is it does not work in Topics or reply’s for my bbpress forum. Will this be supported at some point?
]]>Hi!
Is it possible to show beercolor in EBC?
I export XML from Brewfather ??
Plugin is displaying recipes very nicely, thank you!
I notice the ‘style details’ section has a link, but there are no styles: example.com/beer-style/american-ipa/
I tried making a page called ‘beer-style’ and putting child pages with the style details under that, but the page doesn’t display. I have reset my permalink settings several times, but no change. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to make the link point to the BJCP or somewhere else?
For now I just set style = false, but seems a shame to waste a feature.
]]>Is it possible to add an option in the settings to turn the “notes” and “tasting notes” off? Or can we just do notes = off
]]>Just wondering if there is a good place to grab some recipes from? Thanks.

]]>Hi!
I cant get the recipe loading anymore.
Is this plugin broken?

Hello,
I would like to use the Pique theme, but it really seems to mess with the style of beerXML ShortCode.
You can see here https://westsidebrewing.pw/?page_id=223 what I mean.
I know I may also need to speak to the Pique people of course, but maybe you have seen this before and know a fix/work around?
Maybe I don’t understand how it is expected to work, or maybe I need co configure something, but the style details link to <localhost>/beer-style/<style-name>/. Of course there’s nothing there, resulting in a 404. Is this WAI?
]]>Hi!
After I uploaded a new version og the .xml-file, the recipe wont refresh.
I use the following shortcode
[beerxml recipe=myurl.xml metric=true download=false style=true mash=true fermentation=true mhop=true misc=true actuals=false cache=-1]
And have set cache duration to 0
I have to change the filename to get the recipe updated
]]>I translated beerxml to Swedish a couple days ago and I am now waiting for approval.
When’s that gonna happen?
??
]]>I’m considering doing some development which ultimately makes use of this shortcode.
Doing some research I see beerxml itself seems to be in a bit of disarray. Version 1 is published, some work has been done on version 2, and there’s even a version 3 kicking around, but neither of the latter two have been published AFAIK.
What version(s) is(are) supported by this plugin? Maybe this should be mentioned in the plugin description page?
]]>I have activated the plugin and uploaded a BeerXML file from Brewer’s Friend. I have the BeerXML settings, but I can’t find an interface to insert the shortcode. Typing the code manually doesn’t display the preview, and doesn’t display anything on the post page.
]]>I’m on plugin version 0.5, and I am unable to toggle the beer style settings. I have tried unchecking the option in the plugin settings, and also tried to set style=false in the shortcode, but it always stays visible.
]]>I don’t get it… whats wrong?
]]>My xml don’t show… i have dropbox = no show. Upload to wordpress = no show?
]]>Great work with the plugin so far, definitely a nice addition for my brewblog!
Are there any plans to have a section for the mashing information for all-grain that’s in my BeerXML recipe already? Right now that’s the one killer thing I can see that’s missing. Such as:
Mash Profile:
Protein Rest for 20m @ 122F
Saccrification for 60m @ 151F
Mash Out for 10m @ 168F
etc…
Primary/Secondary/Tertiary info that’s in there would be great too:
Primary for 2 weeks
Secondary for 4 weeks with Zeus dry hops
Anyway, just some thoughts. Thanks!
]]>Hello,
I can’t seem to get this plugin to work with WordPress 3.8.1. There are no errors, it’s just blank on the page after inserting the shortcode. Any advice?
You zip doesn’t contain a CSS file yet your code does contain CSS references?
]]>It would be cool if ingredients had bubbles that could pop up when clicked that described the ingredients. For example, if you clicked on a hop, it could give you a description, characteristics of that hop, what it’s primary use is, etc. Just a suggestion.
I absolutely LOVE this plugin btw. Great job!
Cheers!
]]>It’s a pretty cool plugin and very helpful, but the innards of the recipe don’t turn up in search results, so it’s not possible to search for something like “Saaz” and see all recipes that use Saaz. I don’t suppose anyone has figured out a way to have the search go through the xml files that are referenced in the post and have that show in the search results?
If not, I suppose I can just add the ingredients in as keywords, but it would be great if there were a way to search the actual recipe.
