I think the topic title pretty much says it! I went to exclude an ip address today, and it reset my counter, and unfortunately,I had no idea what it had been at! I also noticed that the counter is now showing in two spots, which I find less aesthetically pleasing.

In the morning I received information that one of my pages isn’t working. After while I found it’s working but freezing for 20 sec and then loading the content. My hosting provider find this out:

]]>Good day, I’m wondering why is the home page counter not changing. If I hit a different page the number of page views goes up, but the home page remains static. I’ve not excluded any IP addresses and I’m not counting unique visitors. I also cleared my cache.

]]>Since the hit counter was updated from BD Hit Counter to Bliss Hit Counter, it isn’t working on my site.
I updated, but the plugin no longer shows in the list of installed plugins, and the counter has vanished from my site. I have tried re-installing several times, but each time a message says that the destination folder already exists in the wp-content/plugins/bd-hit-counter.
But it isn’t there. It isn’t anywhere that I can find, so I can’t activate it, and I’ve lost my previous stats.
