I have a forum where users approved be me can log in, but if someone writes the forum domain with random text afterwards, the get an error message on the forum page with access to everything through the open left hand menus! I cannot find any way to protect the contents to such non-approved users.

Is bbpress supported with this theme (using WordPress Full Site Editor)?

On installation, it produces a blank page in …com/forums.

I’ve had to install a plugin called bbp style pack to even get the forum page to display content, and even using this plugin seems to break page elements like the footer. Bbpress doesn’t seem to work natively with this theme.

Last version update was 2 years ago, so maybe compatibility with the 2023 theme has not been tested?

I just installed bbpress plugin. I created few forums in the dashboard, and when I click on View Forums, I don’t see Forums in a proper format, nor as links on click of which would give me opportunity to create threads. It is showing as in the screenshot provided at the below link.

The formatting/editor bar is not showing on bbpress reply box! Please help!!!!

I want to edit the text below the login box. REGISTER and LOST PASSWORD however I see no way to do this via the login customizer.

When you click a forum it links back to the homepage.
Any suggestions on fixing this? I changed the theme and the problem still persists.

I’m using bbpress plugin with a shortcode link in the page however from what I can tell from the bbpress support forum, it is not a bbpress issue but perhaps more of a theme issue? I’m using ‘Astra’ but please don’t just say go into the Astra plugin forum because I’m also not convinced yet that this is an Astra issue.

When I right click and inspect, I find that it’s in the HTML as:

<h1 class=”entry-title” itemprop=”headline”>Archives: Forums</h1>

I imagine changing this to:

<h1 class=”entry-title” itemprop=”headline”>Forums</h1>

would fix this issue, however I am unaware of how to change the actual HTML.

Could anyone please signpost me or help me solve this?

We have recently blocked port 80 on our server & everything is working on https apart form the bbpress/ultimate member login, where it always direct to http & no www. ().
for example its https://domainname.com, whereas I would like it to direct to https://www.domainname.com .

All the settings in WP are set to https & other pages work fine. Any ideas please?

my 2.5.14 BBpress installation is running on WP 4.9.5.

Google suddenly indexed a list of urls with different “ids and pages appended”, here some examples:

It only seems to happen with urls containing “/page/”.

How to prevent BBpress from creating these urls? I can’t find them in the source code of live pages, anywhere.

I can 301 redirect these urls with htaccess, but only after the problem is solved, otherwise Google spider would get into a very weird loop.

Furthermore, having all this duplicate content indexed is very bad for seo.

Author Archives
Date Archives
Search Pages
Attachment Pages

I tried different plugins that should do the trick (yoast and the seo framework) but they don’t.

Forum button and key-master role is desapeared. I have not “forum” menu item in the left admin menu. Also I can’t change my own admin to keymaster because it disappeared too.What I need to do? All another plugins is off.

I create a page where I can create a new forum. I have several solutions on how to display the visual editor (WYSIWYG, Rich text editor) using this shortcode [bbp-forum-form] but it is not working. instead it gives me a plain textarea without visual editor (WYSIWYG, Rich text editor).

We send newsletters with links to topics that are private. Unless a user is logged in, they see the 404 error page.

I have modified the 404 error page to state that the content is private and have a login field. However, I don’t want that to be shown for actual 404 error pages.

Is there a plugin or a modification I can make that will allow me to display a custom page for those who are not logged in and try to access a topic?

But there is no ‘Forums’ option under Tools.

Have tested a different server, different theme – same problem.

In my Forum settings I have the number of Topics and Replies both set to 10 yet I have one Topic that currently has over 40 replies and you need to scroll down miles to read the latest post. Can you tell me why this may be? I just want 10 replies per page with the ability to show 1 2 3 >> at the bottom to click to the next page of replies.
