]]>Hello,
I am using this plugin for some time already. It is really great and unique, it works nice and easy and really is easy to set and admin, but after some time of usage I discovered one really feature needed.
Resize of images once uploading. The issue is, my web-hosting provider is complaing of my web eating their CPU and resources. I was wondering how come, its only forum, but then I reallized, some users upload really huge pictures, even through the 600px width displays only, its resized by browser and the huge file is downloaded often so the therefore the high CPU. Can I please ask you if you do work no such a feature or if not, do you plan to? I think once this is in, this will be the only best plugin of this type. thanx for reply

]]>Too bad, it looks like this plugin is no longer supported.
I’m more and more frustrated with the fact that we need all the different plugins to bring basic forum functionality to bbPress.
I get an error saying:
increase post_max_size and upload_max_filesize to 100M

when I try to use the image upload button. For now I guess I’ll have to settle with GD bbPress Attachments for image attachments and GD bbPress Tools for bbCodes, etc.

I am not able to post any smiley faces, videos, or pictures….this is all I’ve tried so far. Is there anything I am missing? Should I embed something into my site to get this kick started? Please advise.
Thank you.

The options only works correctly in Text mode.
In Visual mode I can see the bar but the options doesn’t work.
I’m using WordPress 3.5, BBPress 2.2.3 and theme CatchBox.
Please, how can correct this ?
Thanks in advance.

I’m finding that there are NONE that are “simple” like yours, and actually work.

I’m also encountering javascript errors on pages that don’t show the forum add/edit forms. (Unable to set value of the property ‘innerHTML’: object is null or undefined. fileuploader.js?ver3/3/1, line 524 character 5). I don’t think it’s necessarily related to the upload problem though and not as big of a concern as not being able to upload images at all from IE.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

I installed the plugin 2 weeks back but still am facing this issue that the indentation of the text gets screwed. The left alignment of the text goes away and most of the content seems like in the center of the post.

Is there any way to add a code snippet that will automatically add target=_blank attribute to links posted in the forum?
It makes for a better user flow when external links open in a new tab. I also hate it when people leave my website….!

]]>Upon updating to the latest version, the css within my site was broken. It couldn’t locate the files and load them correctly.
When I investigated the .php files for the source, I located on line 484 – 485 the code to call the css.
First, I reverted it, or just flipped the comment code within the file. This solved my problem, but was not the solution.
I changed site_url
to home_url
and moved the comment code back to its original form. This seems to work as well, and is a better solution as it keeps with the code.

]]>First of all, thanks for the great plugin!
Works perfectly!
I just have one question:
I am running a very small forum, wich is open, no need to register to post. What happens is that the tool bar appears above the user info form, far from the reply/post textarea. In this order:
|Toolbar|
name:
email:
website:
Reply textarea.
I wonder how I can get it after the user info, above the textarea.
I know I can manually put the code <?php do_action( ‘bbp_post_toolbar_insertion’ ); ?> where I want, but not sure where, as the bbpress files are a bit confusing to me and i’m not building the forum with shortcodes, i’m using the default one.
Any tip on what I can do?
